Happy Thursday,He Will Sustain Us
Psalm 55:22
Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. It seems nearly every day there is some kind of disaster in this world. The news is more bad news than good. It is easy to become discouraged. Yet we need not become discouraged or afraid.
God is with us. He is still in control. Not only is God with us, but we look forward with great anticipation to our final destiny: our Heavenly Home.
Where the bad memories of this earth will fade away.Pray for one another and do not lose hope, but trust in our Heavenly Father. When we trust in God we can lay aside fear and doubt. The more we communicate with God, the stronger our faith will grow.
Acts 2:26
Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.Romans 5
New King James Version
Faith Triumphs in Trouble
5 Therefore, having been justified by faith, [a]we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces [b]perseverance; 4 and perseverance, [c]character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.Maranatha,

Happy Friday,
It Is Acceptable T0 Rest
We can become overwhelmed with doing good that we do not take the time to rest our minds and bodies. This can be dangerous. It is bad for our physical bodies and bad spiritually.
When we are exhausted we can be vulnerable to the lies of the devil. It is wonderful and acceptable to work for God but allow ourselves time to rest.
Matthew 11:28
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:29
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly inheart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Rest and seek strength from our Heavenly Father. These days are hard but God is with us. Fear not but trust in God, always.

Happy Saturday,
Left Behind
There is a fear in many schoolchildren of missing the School bus. This can cause nightmares even in adults. Yet there is coming a nightmare that most people ignore, make jokes about, or pretend it will never happen.
This is being left behind when the rapture happens. Many things will happen after the rapture and most will be beyond unpleasant.
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
New King James Version
11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Because people chose to reject the truth of the Gospel, God will send them a strong delusion so that they will accept the lies of the antichrist. There are no words to define how scary this is. People will believe a lie that will seal them for eternity in hell.
Remember it will be because they chose to reject the truth of the Gospel. They chose to reject salvation through Christ. In essence, they chose hell over Heaven.
After the rapture, there will be a seven-year tribulation. This is when God, Himself will punish those who rejected His Son, Jesus. They will be left behind because they chose to reject salvation through the blood of Christ. Their choice will make them go through the tribulation.
In the middle of the tribulation, the antichrist will make it a law that no one can buy or sell with a mark on their forehead or right hand.
Revelation 13:16-18
New King James Version
16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has [a]the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
Revelation 14:9-11
New King James Version
9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
Missing the bus as a kid may be scary but missing the rapture may determine where you spend eternity. Today is the day to be saved.
2 Corinthians 6:2
New Living Translation
2 For God says,
“At just the right time, I heard you.
On the day of salvation, I helped you.”[a]Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

Blessed Sunday,
Do Not Compromise
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
2 Timothy 4:3-5Years ago, I knew a man who drank a 6-pack of beer a day and cussed like a sailor. He went to Church every Saturday night. He said he did this to reach his loved ones for Christ.
Falling into the pit of sin does not reach anyone for Christ. Getting ourselves dirty does not make others clean. We must not compromise our relationship with God for any reason.
We must choose to walk close to God, choosing to live in righteousness.

Happy Monday,
Help Us Obey, You
“Daily Prayer for August 14
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea. Isaiah 48:18, NIV
Lord our God, grant that we may heed your commandments, that our peace may be like a river and our righteousness like the waves of the sea. Be with us through your Spirit, we pray. Speak with us and tell us what we need to hear so that we can understand what draws us always nearer to you. Show the might of your hand to help us and all people. Even under judgment we shall not despair, we shall not lose courage because of troubles and distress. Come with your strength, that we may grow strong to overcome the world through Jesus Christ the Savior. Amen.”
We can get so caught up in our own desires, that we ignore the voice of God. His way is always better than our way. Yet it is hard to sometimes to see this truth.
We need to begin each day determined to walk in the truth of God. To be willing to serve Him, in all circumstances. We need to pray for guidance.

Happy Tuesday,
Sing Unto the Lord
I have always had trouble remembering the words of a song. Since I got mild dementia, it has gotten worse. The following verse brings me comfort.
Psalm 96:1-3
New International Version
Psalm 96
1
Sing to the Lord a new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth.2
Sing to the Lord, praise his name;
proclaim his salvation day after day.3
Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples. Now when I am singing a song of praise to God and I forget the words, I make up words from my heart, and it becomes a new song. God is, indeed worthy of our praises. Our songs of praise are a gift unto our Heavenly Father.
We make be going through hard times, but praising God is a gift to God and encourages us.

Psalm 96
1
Sing to the Lord a new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth.2
Sing to the Lord, praise his name;
proclaim his salvation day after day.3
Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples.4
For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
he is to be feared above all gods.5
For all the gods of the nations are idols,
but the Lord made the heavens.6
Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and glory are in his sanctuary.7
Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.8
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
bring an offering and come into his courts.9
Worship the Lord in the splendor of his[a] holiness;
tremble before him, all the earth.10
Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.”
The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved;
he will judge the peoples with equity.11
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let the sea resound, and all that is in it.12
Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them;
let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.13
Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes,
he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples in his faithfulness. -

Happy Thursday,
Bloom Where You Are Planted
There are times that we live where we did not want to live. This can be our opportunity to do God’s work. We can pray for those who live around us.
We can live in righteousness so that others can see Jesus through us.
Do not get living pridefully mixed up with living in righteousness. Living like we are better than others is sinful. Pray that God will open our eyes to the needs of those around us and pray for our neighbors, regularly.

Happy Friday,
God Is With Us
“Daily Prayer for August 18
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. Psalm 73:23–24, NIV
Thank you, great God and Father, for filling our hearts with trust so that we are of good hope, also for those who have not yet found trust. Thank you for giving us courage to face all the questions that arise in human life and for accepting us again and again when we come to you. You know what lies before us. You know the mountains that have to be moved. You know all the things that frustrate us and try to wear us out, and you will take them away. At last your light will shine into all the darkness. This certainty fills us with gladness and thanksgiving. In this faith we are determined to remain steadfast and to press on to victory. Amen.”
We can trust God to always be with us. He will never forsake us. When we put our complete trust in God we will have more peace and joy. We can become discouraged easily. This is why we need to pray and read the Bible regularly.

Happy Saturday,
Finish Well
Hebrews 12:1-2
New International Version
12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
As we come to the end of our lives, our desire should be to finish well. We should want to finish the race of our life as well or better than we started. Praying daily that we live in a way that will not embarrass our Heavenly Father.
As we grow older we are often affected by health issues. Health issues can take a toll emotionally as well as physically. We also find that we need more rest as we age. It is okay to get extra rest.
Pray for ourselves and others. Encourage one another with Scripture and words of encouragement. Seek to be a blessing to others. Seek the face of God daily and pray that God will fill us with the Holy Spirit. When we do all this then we will have hope to share with others.

Blessed Sunday,
Problems for A Reason
Stephen was killed for his preaching of the Gospel. I often wondered why, God allowed this to happen. Today I read this:
Acts 11:19-24
New King James Version
Barnabas and Saul at Antioch
19 Now those who were scattered after the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to no one but the Jews only. 20 But some of them were men from Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus. 21 And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.
22 Then news of these things came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch. 23 When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord. 24 For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord.
It was because of the death of Stephen that Christians fled Jerusalem and went out to other areas for safety. Because they fled they spread the Gospel to other lands.
Sometimes God has to make things get tough for us to move us to where He wants us to go. We can get so comfortable that we resist God’s calling.
There are times when we look back on our lives that we can see why God allowed bad things to happen to us. Other times we will not understand why God allowed things to happen until we get to Heaven. Until then, we have to trust God.

Happy Monday,
Thirsty
Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
Texas like many states is parched. The grass is dying and many of us are praying for rain. Which should make us ponder. How often do we cry to God for help living in righteousness?
Psalm 42:1-3
New King James Version
BOOK TWO
Psalms 42–72
Yearning for God in the Midst of Distresses
To the Chief Musician. A [a]Contemplation of the sons of Korah.
42
As the deer [b]pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God.2
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and [c]appear before God?3
My tears have been my food day and night,
While they continually say to me,
“Where is your God?”In these last days may we hunger and thirst after God. May we seek to live in His divine will. There are so many things around us that seek to distract us from what is important, such as our relationship with Christ.
I pray that God brings us physical rain and blesses us with much-needed spiritual rain, in these times of uncertainty.

Happy Tuesday,
Church Is Not Just A Building
Ephesians 2:14-22
New King James Version
Christ Our Peace
14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
Christ Our Cornerstone
19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
We meet together as a Church body to worship God, but the true Church is the people who are born again. Jesus Himself said that one day people would worship in Spirit.
John 4:23
New King James Version
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
We can worship God anywhere and at any time. We are the Church. We are the body of Christ.

Happy Wednesday,
“Bearing Others’ Burdens
Romans 15
New King James Version
Bearing Others’ Burdens
15 We then who are strong ought to bear with the [a]scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to [b]edification. 3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.” 4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the [c]patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. 5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us encourage one another and help each other carry on towards the end of our race. Seeking to please God with our acts of kindness. We are storing up honors and rewards in Heaven with our deeds on earth.
We all have troubles and problems, but we can build each other up with words of encouragement and prayers to God for each other. May God hasten His return for His children to take us all home with Him to Heaven.

Happy Thursday,
Take Up Your Cross
“Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”- Matthew 16:24 ESV
Salvation is more than saying a prayer and shaking the Pastor’s hand. Not only do we have to turn away from our sins, but we must take up and carry the cross that God assigns to us.
Carrying our own cross is hard and often unpleasant. We want a smooth journey in this life. We want everything to be soft and easy. Truth is life is hard on its own. Serving God in a sinful word can be crushingly hard.
Yet, we have it easy compared to those who live in Countries where Christianity is illegal. Many people are in prisons living in horrid conditions because of their faith in Christ. Do we take the time to pray for these brothers and sisters in Christ? I must admit I forget to do so, often.
Let us take time today, to pray for those in this world who are suffering persecution for their belief in Christ.

Happy Friday,
Do Everything With Love
1 Corinthians 13
New King James Version
The Greatest Gift
13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body [a]to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
The Bible makes it clear that works without love are useless. Our works must come from a heart of love and compassion. If we do not have love and compassion for others then there will be no reward in Heaven and possibly little results on earth.
Self-pride kills love and compassion for others. When we see ourselves as better than others we do not have a loving heart. It is easy to judge those around us but too often we do not examine our own lives to see our own faults.
Let us pray that God will fill our hearts with love and compassion for others. Then our motivation for our works will come from love and compassion and not duty.

Happy Saturday,
Growing Spiritually
“But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness.”
2 Peter 1:5-6I do not know about you, but I worry that I am not growing spiritually as I ought to be. We get so busy with day-to-day life that we neglect our spirituality. There is no scale to step on to see if we have grown spiritually.
What do we do? We live for God everyday. We do our best. We seek His face daily. We do not need to worry about his much we are growing. We just need to be going forward daily in faith and in our walk with God.

Happy Monday,
Walk in Him
“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.”
I have talked with Christians who are losing their faith in God. They do not understand why the rapture has not happened. They think that criminals are getting off Scott-free for their crimes.
I keep telling them that unlike God we cannot see the big picture. It is easy to question God, when bad things happen to us and our family. Trusting God is trusting in God even during tragedies.
To survive tragedies we must be established in our faith in God. We must walk with God today to handle what may come tomorrow or next month.
Whatever happens, God has not failed us, but keep looking up for that blessed hope. Jesus is coming back for His Church!

Happy Tuesday,
What Does Righteousness Look Like?
If you had asked the people during the time of Christ they would have said that the Pharisees and Religious leaders were great examples of righteousness. Yet, look at what Jesus said about them!
“For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 5:20
The Religious leaders sought to look righteous, but Jesus saw their hearts. It is what is in the heart that counts. Lest we pick on them, we also can pretend to be more righteous than we are. We can fool those around us, but we cannot fool God.
Good works are great, but we must be aware of our own motives behind our good works. Our desire should be to please God and not man. God wants us to live righteous lives, but it must begin in our hearts and not in our outward appearance.

Two of my friends cried, yesterday from emotional pain. We all have times that we go through that we do not understand. God understands our pain and saves our tears.
Psalm 56:8
New Living Translation
8 You keep track of all my sorrows.[a]
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book. There are things we go through on this earth that we do not understand, but we can still trust God. He always will be with us. We may not understand now why God took us down a certain path, but one day everything will be made clear to us.

Do Not Get Caught Up In Your Past
Daily Prayer for September 1
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, open our hearts to see what is good in our lives. May the light in our hearts shine clearly so that we see, recognize, and live in accordance with what comes from eternity and belongs to our true nature, brought to us through Christ. Keep us from being blinded and deafened by experiences that will pass by. Help us to rise above them even in suffering and to wait patiently for what is becoming new and perfect. Praise to your name that we too can say, “The old has passed away; see, everything has become new!” Amen
The devil likes to remind us of our past and discourages us. God wants us to focus on our future in Heaven. For now, we may struggle through daily troubles but we have a hopeful and glorious future with our Heavenly Father.Let us not give into depression but praise God daily and trust Him to see us through each day. We are not hopeless for our God is always with us and will never leave us.
Ephesians 6:12-13
King James Version
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Victory is ahead!

Blessed Sunday,
Waiting On The Lord
“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” – Psalm 27:14
It seems like life is just one big waiting game. We wait in lines at the grocery store, airport, amusement parks etc., — there is even a room called “waiting” at a doctor’s office. In every instance, the time we wait far outweighs what we are actually waiting for. As a culture that increasingly pushes instant gratification, even Christians cannot escape this subliminal messaging that we receive in our everyday lives.”
We hate waiting. We want what we want now. We must choose to wait patiently. Whether we are waiting in a line or for God to work in a situation, we need to be patient.
We cannot make a line shorter nor can we change God’s timing. We will be more at peace when we choose to wait without giving in to anger. We need to remind ourselves God’s timing is perfect. It is a matter of trusting God’s plans.

Happy Labor Day,
Blind Faith
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 10:23 (NIV)
There are movies where people act on blind faith. Some non-Christians think our faith in God is blind. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, our faith is not blind. God gives us secure assurance the moment that we accept Him as our Savior that He is real.
We can live knowing without a doubt that we have a future home in heaven, when we choose to accept Jesus as our Savior and choose to live for Him.
God fills our hearts with peace and the knowledge that He holds us in His hands. He is with us today, tomorrow, and when we leave this world. We are secure in the arms of God.

Happy Thursday,
Do Not Worry About Tomorrow
“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?”
Matthew 6:28-30
Watching and reading the news is enough to make one worry about the future. It seems it is nothing but gloom and fear. Yet, we need not fear tomorrow. God is still in control. He has not abandoned us.
The devil would love to get us to spend today fretting and fussing about what may happen. Let us trust God and not worry about tomorrow.

Happy Friday,
“Has God forgotten To Be Merciful”
Daily Prayer for September 8
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion? Then I thought, “To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand. I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.” Psalm 77:9–12, NIV
Lord God, our Father in heaven, we turn to you in these times when we are under so much stress and temptation. Let your light glow in our hearts to give us firmness, patience, and perseverance throughout the time of testing, no matter how long it lasts. Your hand can change everything. Your hand can shorten the time we must wait until your light shines out of the darkness of death and evil, until your light reveals your life to your children and to the whole world. You are our God and Father as you have promised, and remaining at your side, we look to you in faith and trust. You will bring about goodness, justice, and mercy as you have promised, and so fulfill your will. Amen”
God will always be a merciful God. We may go through seasons of drought, but God’s mercies will sustain us. This summer has been extremely hot and dry for Texas. There were those who felt God that God had abandoned us.
We are living in the last days. These days are very hard on everybody. We must not lose hope and trust in God. We will be rewarded for trusting in God during bad times. True trust is when we believe God when we cannot see the answers we want to our prayers.
“Matthew 24:33
New King James Version
33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that [a]it is near—at the doors!”

Happy Saturday,
Morocco Earthquake
It seems every week, there is another disaster in the world. The birth pains are getting so much closer together. What can we do? Make sure we are right with God. Share the Gospel with family, friends, and strangers.
We are seeing the signs that the rapture is coming soon. It is hard to hear about disasters. We hurt for those hurting. We can pray for those who are suffering.
Jesus is coming soon. Our redemption is coming. Do not lose hope, Jesus is coming for His children.

Blessed Sunday,
A New Creation
“Promise #253:
Your old life has ended and now everything is new in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB)
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.
The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.”
Do not let the devil destroy you over your past. When we become a Christian, God forgives us of our past. We no longer have to listen to the devil’s lies.
We must remind ourselves and the devil that we are Christians who have been made new through the blood of Jesus. We march forward seeking to live a holy and righteous life for our Heavenly Father.

Happy Monday,
“Departed From The Truth”
Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have departed from the truth.
2 Timothy 2:17-18Hymenaneus and Philetus departed from the truth. They chose to forsake the truth. They did not forget the truth. They knew the truth but decided to forsake the truth.
Even today, sadly, Preachers, Teachers, and Laymen, and women are forsaking the truth. Some for political, financial, or popularity gain. There is nothing we can gain in this world that is worth walking away from the truth of the Gospel.
It is dangerous for our souls to forsake the truth. Yet, it is even more dangerous to lead people away from the truth. There will be consequences for forsaking the truth of the Gospel and even more severe ones for leading others away from the truth of the Gospel.
These are the days that we must stand for the truth of the Gospel, even when it is not popular. It is sinful to depart from the truth of the Gospel. We need to pray that we are not led astray by smooth-talking Preachers and Teachers. The Bible must be our source for the truth.

Happy Tuesday,
“Trampled On The Son Of God”
“Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us. (Hebrews 10:29 NLT)”
We have seen and heard celebrities who have made fun of God and rejected God publically. They think it is funny to joke about God. Yet, the day will come when their laughter will be over and they will only know despair for eternity.
As Christians, all we can do is pray for these people. Pray that their eyes will be open to the truth before it is too late. Only God knows if they have passed the point of no return, so it is acceptable to pray for them, until God leads you to cease to pray for them.
“In the Old Testament book of Daniel, we read that King Belshazzar had all the holy vessels brought out that the Jewish people used in the worship of God. Then he filled them with wine and toasted the gods of silver and gold. He was openly mocking God and going out of his way to ridicule Him.
And that was his last night on earth. He was weighed in God’s balances, and God’s judgment fell upon him.”
People today can reach a point where God washes His hands of them and then their chance of salvation is gone. Even as Christians, we must be careful that we always treat God with honor and respect.
Hebrews 10:31
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

God Will Guide Us
“Promise #256:
I will be the voice behind you, guiding you in the way you should go.
Isaiah 30:21 (WEB)
and when you turn to the right hand,
and when you turn to the left,
your ears will hear a voice behind you,
saying, “This is the way. Walk in it.”
We need not fear tomorrow for God will guide us through whatever comes up. We can trust Him with our last breath. He knows the future and He is prepared for whatever happens. He will get us through all our tomorrows.

Happy Friday,
God is Faithful
Promise #258:
I will be faithful to give you My strength and protection.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 (WEB)
“But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you,
and guard you from the evil one.
God is faithful. He will never leave you or forsake you and He has promised to protect you from the evil one. In a world that is full of broken promises, this is something that we can know and rely on. The NIV Bible says 2 Thessalonians 3:3 this way… But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.”
The devil loves to fill our minds with doubts. When we doubt, we weaken our faith. When our faith is weakened we open ourselves up to be led astray by the devil.
We must stay strong in our faith. The best way to do that is to build up our faith by reading the Word of God and praying. Singing praises to God also promotes a healthy spiritual life.
The devil knows his time is short so he is attacking Christians regularly. We must choose to increase our faith in God and not become complacent.
Our redemption is coming soon. May God help us to stay committed to living our lives in a way that is pleasing to Him.

Happy Monday,
Do Not Doubt The Existence of Heaven
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you also may be where I am.
John 14:2-3 (ESV)
Jesus, Himself told us that He is preparing a place for us in Heaven and that He is coming back for us. What a marvelous promise given to us by the Lord Jesus.
Knowing Jesus’ word is true and honorable, we can relax and know that our redemption is coming soon. We are not hopeless but a people whose hope is secure in the Holy Word of God.
Romans 5:11
New King James Version
11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
Philippians 4:4
New King James Version
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Happy Thursday,
God’s Word Guides Us
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105 KJV
In today’s world, there are so many noises blasting into our heads. If we are not careful we can find ourselves overwhelmed, discouraged, and confused. Sadly every “Christian” video is not Christianity.
This video was a woman preacher, which I have issues with it. She said that the Noah and the flood was just a story. I take issues with anyone who wants to deny parts of the Bible as true.
We need God’s Holy Word to guide us and protect us from influences from the devil.

Happy Friday,
Seek To Please God
That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty.
Ecclesiastes 12:13We cannot please everyone. This is a given. What is more important than pleasing people is pleasing God! God will judge us in the end and not people.
This does not give us a license to be cruel to others, but God must come first. Our relationship with God is stronger, when we put God first. Things in our lives will work out better when we seek to please God.

Happy Saturday,
“He Has Blessed Us”
He has blessed us in the Beloved.
Ephesians 1:6Our circumstances does not determine whether or not we are blessed. There are many many sinners who are blessed by today’s standards. Yet, there are people who in this world who have nothing in this world but are spiritually blessed.
We must remember that many people have gained their wealth and fame from living in sin. People get paid in TV and movies to use God’s Name in vain and they do so so they can be popular and rich. They have no interest in their souls or eternity.
Sadly, there are poor people who have no interest in God and have no fear of God. Using God’s Name in vain also comes easy for them. They do not believe in eternity or they think all ‘good’ people go to Heaven. The Bible says no one is good. Only the righteous blood of Jesus saves us from sin.
We must choose salvation through Christ to be saved. Then we are truly blessed no matter what is in our bank account. Our blessing is Jesus being with us all the time and our eternity in Heaven.

Happy Monday,
God Will Make Things New
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more…And he who sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Also he said, “Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Revelation 21:1, 5, RSV
Lord our God, our Father, we look deep into your mighty Word and see the glory of the new world you will create according to your justice and truth. We thank you for giving us this joy on earth in the midst of all our toil and striving. We look deep into your Word. You make all things new. To this hope our lives are directed, to this hope you have called us, and we want to be faithful forever. Praise to your name, for you have already done great things for us! Keep us in your Word. Let many find the light, for in this light they may look to you in simple faith and constancy until the end, when throughout the world we may see your glory and your grace. Amen.
The Bible says that God will one day replace this earth and Heaven with brand new ones. This Earth has become corrupted but the New Earth will know no corruption. Sin will never enter the new earth. The devil will be in the lake of fire and sin will be no more.
We live in a world where sin abounds. With the help of the Holy Spirit, as children of God, we need not walk in sin. We can live in righteousness. When we do sin, Jesus is our advocate.
The closer we walk with God, the less desirable sin becomes and the more desirable righteousness becomes. The more we love God the more we desire to please God. Let us worship God in spirit and truth.

Happy Tuesday,
Your Choice
“But you’re gonna have to serve somebody, yes indeed
You’re gonna have to serve somebody,
It may be the devil or it may be the Lord
But you’re gonna have to serve somebody. “—Bob DylanI watched a YouTube video of an Oprah show where she is in an argument with an audience member who believes Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Oprah said with an angry tone:” I choose whether I go to Heaven or hell”. She is correct. If we refuse salvation through Christ, then we have chosen hell.
It is not God that sends us to hell, but it is our own decision. This decision lasts for eternity. We must choose well. Sadly it is too often pride that keeps people from admitting that they are a sinner, in need of salvation.

Happy Wednesday,
He Will Keep Us From Falling
“Promise #270:
I will keep you from falling until you joyfully stand blameless in My presence.
Jude 1:24 (WEB)
Now to him who is able to keep them from stumbling,
and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory in great joy,”
One day Jesus will joyfully present us to His Father. He will rejoice in our sinlessness. Not because we are perfect, but because we have been washed and made clean by the precious blood of Jesus.
We need not live in fear of sin, if we trust God to protect us from sin. We can choose to walk in righteousness and not give into sin. When we do fall into sin we have an advocate in Jesus.
1 John 2
“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. …”

Happy Thursday,
Only What’s Done For Christ Will Last
So many who reject Christ do so far worldly fame and money. No matter how big you are today, there will come a time when the crowd moves on to someone new. No matter how rich you are, you will soon become tired of the new toys the world has to offer.
Only the works for Christ will last through eternity. I was thinking of a Missionary who was killed by the people he was trying to reach. His heroic wife stayed on the Mission field and because of her, the people who killed her husband became Christians.
She has now passed away from old age. What a marvelous reunion it must have been when she saw her husband again! To be able to talk about the work he started and through Christ, how she brought the work to a satisfactory conclusion. Their work will last through eternity.
We often grow weary. Many people work hard in the background of life for God. God sees their work. There will come a day when their work will be rewarded openly in Heaven. Let us seek to please our Heavenly Father in all that we do, not for rewards, but because we love Him.

Happy Friday,
“Christ On A White Horse”
Revelation 19:11-21
New King James Version
Christ on a White Horse
11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head weremany crowns. He [a]had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in [b]fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a [c]sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.The Beast and His Armies Defeated
17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the [d]supper of the great God, 18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, [e]free and slave, both small and great.”
19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
My husband often wonders aloud why God does not judge evil doers on this earth. God has been very very patient. He has been dealing with evil since the Garden of Eden.
Many believe that the reason God flooded the earth is that the demons was taking human women for themselves. If this had continued mankind would have been replaced with high-breeds.
This withstanding God has been indeed patient with mankind and the evil they do. There is coming a day when God will stand no more and will defeat evil. He will leave Heaven and come to this Earth to defeat the devil and His followers. Jesus will come to this earth, not as a little baby, not as a gentle Shepherd, but as a conquering King.
Now is the time to accept salvation. For there is a time when salvation will cease and only judgment will come.

Betty

Blessed Sunday,
“What Can Wash Away My Sins?
——Nothing But The Blood of Jesus!”
Our Pastor told us that last week someone told him that they believed that the Church had to go through the tribulation in order to be worthy of Heaven. This is a lie from the devil.
Even if we sacrificed our lives for Christ we would still be unworthy of Heaven. There is only one key to be open the Gates of Heaven and that is the precious blood of Jesus.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 10:9
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
John 10:1
Jesus the True Shepherd
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Jesus is the door of Heaven. We must be saved through the blood of Jesus.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
The age of grace will soon end. The Church will be taken to Heaven, in the event called the rapture. Then the tribulation will come upon this earth. A time of great sorrow and torment. Let us not put off salvation, because being left behind is no joke.
2 Corinthians 6:2
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day ofsalvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Happy Monday,
God Took On Manhood
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
Philippians 2:5-8We cannot imagine the cost to Jesus, to lay down His glorified body to be born a baby and live in a human body. To leave an incorruptible body to be born in a corruptible body.
God chose to do this in order to bring salvation to a fallen and sinful world. His choice to do so brought a chance for salvation to all mankind. It must break His heart that so many have chosen against accepting the precious gift of salvation.
I cannot emphasize enough how it is important to accept salvation, now while the age of grace is still open. Soon these days will come and then God will cause a strong delusion to come on this earth, so those who rejected the truth of salvation will accept a lie from the devil.
2 Thessalonians 2:5-12
New King James Version
5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the [a]mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only [b]He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Now is the time to set aside our pride and fall at Jesus’ feet and seek salvation. We are not promised tomorrow.

Happy Wednesday,
Disappointment
“Promise #277:
If you believe in Jesus, you will not be disappointed.
1 Peter 2:6 (WEB)
Because it is contained in Scripture,
“Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen, and precious:
He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”
From the time we are born into this world until we die, we suffer disappointment. Those who put their trust in someone or something other than salvation through Jesus will suffer an eternity of disappointment.
Those of us who trusted Jesus for our salvation, will know no disappointment in Heaven. Heaven will be more glorious than we can even imagine.
Now we should seek to serve God to the best of our abilities. We should honor God with praise and worship and share the Gospel with others, while there is still time.

Created For A Purpose
“Promise #278:
You are My workmanship, created in Christ to do My good works.
Ephesians 2:10 (WEB)
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared before that we would walk in them.”
Before we took our first breath on this earth, God had a purpose and a plan for us. Sometimes, stubbornness and sin takes us in the wrong direction. Yet, God lovingly calls us back into Himself.
God, in love, takes our broken pieces and puts us back together. In love, He begins a new work in us. When we are obedient to God, He can still use us for His Kingdom, despite our pasts.

Happy Friday,
Why Do The Wicked Prosper?
“But as for me, my feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold. For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked” (Psalm 73:2-3).
It is easy to envy the wicked who prosper with fame and money. Yet what does prosperity and worldly fame compare to an eternity in Heaven? The riches of this life cannot compare to an eternal life in Heaven with our Heavenly Father.
This life is as closest many people will get to Heaven. We should not envy the wicked, but feel sorry for them. They have nothing to look forward to when they die. We should continue to pray for lost souls.
Let us not envy the wicked, but reassure ourselves of our future in Heaven. Let us live for God with a generous heart of love for Jesus and the great sacrifice He made to bring us salvation.

I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Philippians 3:14Israel is at war. It is easy to wonder where God is. Yet, God has not abandoned His throne. He is still in control. We do not understand why God allows this to happen. In spite of this, we can put complete trust in our Heavenly Father.
Let us lay aside our fear and pray for Israel.

Happy Wednesday,
Do Not Become Too Cozy With This World
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”
We should love everyone, yet we must be careful of who we spend the most of our time with. When we spend most of our time with non-Christians we can easily be influenced by ungodly ideas.
As a Christian, our most important desire should be to please God. We do not want to become inspired into pleasing people over God. This world is fleeting. It is the things that we do for our Heavenly Father that will last eternity.
Pray for Israel and the people held hostage by Hamas.

Happy Thursday,
Hard Days
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35)
We all have hard days. Days that begin from the start with tension and aggravation. When we are irritable and those we live with are too. An argument is just waiting to happen.
Sometimes we need to take some space to be alone and to talk to God. To soak up His love. When we feel God’s love for us, it is easier to show love for others.

Happy Saturday,
Growing In The Lord
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
Ephesians 6:10-13Jesus died to save us from our sins, but salvation does not stop there. Just as we come into this world as helpless babies and grow into self-sustaining adults, we are to grow spiritually.
We should not get saved and 10 years later still be spiritual babies. We cheat ourselves and God when we refuse to grow spiritually. It is true that growing spiritually is often painful, but the end results are well worth it.
Let us pray daily that we will grow each day into what God wants us to be. Today more than ever let us share the Gospel with the way we live our lives and in our testimony. We can see prophecy falling into place. The age of grace is coming to an end. God help us to be fruitful Christians.

Blessed Sunday,
Daily Prayer for October 15
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matthew 9:12–13, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, we come into your presence as imperfect, sinful children, who do many foolish things and who are involved in much that is evil and corrupt. We come to you, Father, knowing that your fatherly love is with us through all eternity. Be gracious to us and free us from all the harm and injury we are bound to suffer in this earthly life. May the grace your kingdom brings on earth finally blot out the sins of all people, so that as your children they may rejoice because you have helped them. May your name be praised among all people. Amen”
The devil likes to throw our failures and sins in our face. Jesus says to us to come to Him for forgiveness and healing. We can find comfort and rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Do not let the devil discourage you. Trust in God and be blessed.
Pray for Israel!

We Are Important To God
“Promise #289:
If I look after the sparrows, I will certainly look after you.
Luke 12:6-7 (WEB)
6 “Aren’t five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God.
7 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid.
You are of more value than many sparrows.”
It is hard to imagine in a vast world as ours and with so many millions of people, that God takes any notice of us. Yet, He loves us and is concerned about us.
Should we not worship God with all our hearts? Should we not honor God daily in the way we live?
May God teach us to live in a way that pleases Him. May we worship God in righteousness and truth. May we look forward with hope for the day that God comes and gets us and we are evermore with our Heavenly Father.

Daily Prayer for October 17
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:12, NIV
Father in heaven, we thank you for giving us light. We thank you for the great hope for a day whose light is not of our making, whose source is in you, a day to come that can touch our lives already today. Keep our hearts steadfast, free of all human wavering. May we always hold to the love you have given through your grace, and may we find joy in your love, which is full of light and understanding. “Amen
There are many things happening in this world that can cause us alarm.
If we are not careful, we can be overcome by fear. We must establish our hope in God and His promises. Whether we live or die, if we are saved, God is with us.
We need not fear what will happen tomorrow. God is still in control. We can have complete trust in God. God will not fail us. It is true God allows things to happen that we do not understand. When this happens it is hard to trust God, but one day we will understand the reasons why. Press on my friend trusting completely in our Heavenly Father.

Happy Thursday,
God Will Protect Us
“Promise #292:
I will cover you with My feathers and protect you with My wings.
Psalm 91:4 (WEB)
He will cover you with his feathers.
Under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.”
There are a lot of things happening today that concerns us. If we are not careful, we can give into fear. Our Heavenly Father wants us to reject fear and trust in Him.
Whether we live our die, our God is with us. Because of this, there is no need to fear. We know our future is with God in Heaven. In our present state, God is with us. We must learn to trust God in all circumstances.
Trust God and seek to do His will. Pray for lost souls. Pray for Israel.

Happy Friday,
I Am So Excited
We can see from the activities around the world that we are closer to the rapture than ever. This knowledge should make us excited. Let us not allow this knowledge to make us become complacent and lazy.
Instead, let us spend every day seeking more than ever to do God’s will. Because of health issues, I do not leave the house much. This does not mean I cannot work for God. I can write my blog and pray. Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls. Pray for God’s will in my life.
Whatever your situation is, seek to be active in God’s Kingdom. Seek to do God’s will every day. Let us seek to be pleasing God when the rapture arrives. May His return for His children be soon.
Maranatha,
Betty

Happy Saturday,
God Saves Our Prayers
Daily Prayer for October 21
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“Then another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and he was given a great quantity of incense to offer with the prayers of all God’s people upon the golden altar in front of the throne. And from the angel’s hand the smoke of the incense went up before God with the prayers of his people. Revelation 8:3–4, NEB
Lord God, we come before you and ask you to turn our hearts and minds to you alone, to you who have power over the whole world and who can do everything in our hearts according to your will. Let there be light in our time. Hear and answer the many prayers that have already come to you, rising for centuries before your throne, prayers for your kingdom and for your will on earth. This earth has become the prey of evil. We are poor and needy, and you alone can help us. Help us, O Lord, our God and Father. After this misery let your day come, your great day over all the world and over all peoples. “Amen
When our prayers are not answered in a timely manner or exactly the way we wanted, we can begin to think that our prayers are wasted. The Bible shows this is not true.
God hears the prayers of His children. No prayer is wasted. We must remember that God’s will is better than our own. We must trust His will. Accepting our Heavenly Father’s will over our own will is an act of obedience.
We must be faithful to God in all circumstances. One day we will be in the presence of the Lord God Almighty. Then everything will become clear to us. Until that day, let us choose to trust God with all of our hearts.
Pray for Israel,
Maranatha,
Betty

Blessed Sunday,
“Strength and Peace”
“Promise #295:
I will give you My strength and bless you with My peace.
Psalm 29:11 (WEB)
Yahweh will give strength to his people.
Yahweh will bless his people with peace.”
When we lose a loved one our strength and peace is taken away. We feel physically broken. We become afraid for our loved ones that are left. We begin to question God’s love for us.
How could He take away the one we loved? How can we keep trusting God? The truth is that we have to force ourselves to love God and trust Him in spite of our great loss. When we do, God will give us strength and peace.
Pray for Israel.

Depression Sneaks In
“ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE
When it feels like darkness is closing in, remember that the fight is not over. The righteousness, justice, peace, and light of the Lord will prevail.
“Fret not yourself because of evildoers… Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act… In just a little while, the wicked will be no more… But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace.”
Psalm 37:1, 5, 10–11
There are so many things going wrong in this world today. Individual families are in turmoil. It is easy to give in to depression. As we get older,
many of us are dealing with health issues. Depression can sneak in as an uninvited guest.
Friends it is hard not to give in to depression. We must remind ourselves that this life is short and eternity is forever. Truly, the best is yet to come.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Wednesday,
We All Have Burdens
1 Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you
We all have burdens. We all have times of discouragement. We all have times of depression. These things are not lost on God. He knows our needs and seeks for us to come to him for relief.
Let us not be ashamed of our circumstances but go to our Heavenly Father. He wants us to come to Him, when we are in need. Trying to take care of everything ourselves does not make us strong. Often it leads to pride, when we will not admit we need God’s help. Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there.

Satisfaction In Jesus
“A Prayer to Find Our Satisfaction in the God Who Satisfies Forever
By Alisha Headley“Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” (John 6:32-33)
While we need food daily to nourish our bodies, there is another kind of nourishment that feeds our souls and that’s Jesus Himself. Most of us turn to food or other forms of nourishment and satisfaction to fill us not just out of necessity for our bodies to survive, but out of a place to comfort us, to give us peace, and to temporarily bring us pleasure.”
When we need comfort let us seek Jesus first. We all like comfort food and we do need to eat. Yet, sometimes we need emotional comfort. We seek to find emotional comfort in many ways, but our best way is to go to God.
God knows exactly what we need even when we do not. He knows our needs better than we do. He knows our past and our future. We can always trust God. May God help us to seek Him first.
Pray for Israel.

May I Please God
“For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.”
1 John 3:20-22May we live our lives in a way that pleases our Heavenly Father. May our heart’s desire be to live for Christ. May God help us not to get so caught up in the troubles of this world, that we lose sight of our eternity in Heaven.
We have a lot of thing going on in this world to cause us worry and pain. We must remember that God is in control. No matter what happens we can rely on God. He is still merciful to His children. Sing praises and offer thanks to God, our Creator, and the one who forgives our sins.
Pray for Israel.

Praise The Lord
Daily Prayer for October 30
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord. Psalm 117, NIV
Lord our God, we thank you that we may come to you and that our spirits can reach out for your help and your comfort. May we draw strength from communion with you, our Father. May we realize more fully that we are your children, truly your children, who throughout our pilgrimage are allowed to know you as our refuge and our help. Remember our world, and grant that many hearts awaken and turn to you, looking to you in all the fear and need which sweep over many people in our time. Let your Spirit be revealed to our hearts in quiet, bringing many experiences from you, O Lord our God, and from your kingdom. Protect us every day in the many lands throughout the earth. For the nations are yours; they shall receive life and blessing from you, and at last your kingdom will be revealed in all the world, to the eternal glory of your name. “Amen
How glorious is our Lord! We serve a marvelous God, who loves us and wants good for us. We do go through bad times, but God is with us through all circumstances.
Let us not worry about tomorrow, for God will be with us through every hour. Pray for one another. Pray for the lost. Pray for those who are ill. Worship our Heavenly Father by living in a way that pleases Him.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Tuesday,
“Christian Nationalist”
A reporter from MSNBC called Mike Johnson a Christian Nationalist for saying his morals come from the Bible. The President said in a press conference that Maga voters and Christian Nationalists are more dangerous than Hamas.
What the President said was dangerous and was set to divide our Country even more than it is. Ironically it was not Christians who tried to break down the fence guarding the White House, but Muslim supporters.
What does the Bible teach?
Matthew 22:37-40
King James Version
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Christians are being set up to be outcasts. We must stay strong in our faith so we do not weaken in our resolve to obey God and His Holy Word.

Happy Thursday,
When We Are Overwhelmed
“Promise #313:
I am your light and your salvation, the strength of your life.
Psalm 27:1 (WEB)
Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear?
Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?”
There are times that we feel overwhelmed. We may be dealing with health issues while taking care of a loved one with physical needs. We may be suffering the loss of a loved one. We may even feel abandoned.
Yet, in the midst of our suffering, we can remind ourselves that God is with us. Many times God uses fellow Christians to encourage us. The kindness of others can give us that boost we need to keep trusting in God and to continue on in our work for the glory of God.
As we continue in our walk with God let us pray for others who also are walking in dark times. May God help us be a light of encouragement to others.
Pray for Israel.

Blessed Sunday,
Fear Not
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
I woke up suddenly from a dream this morning, because I cursed in my dream. I am not one who uses cuss words. This dream scared me. I immediately begged God for forgiveness.
The thing is we have no control over our dreams. I believe this was an attack from Satan to fill my heart with fear. When I awoke Satan began to fill my mind with doubts that I would go to Heaven.
Thankfully, the Holy Spirit calmed me and reminded me that my salvation is secure in Jesus. The devil is the one who spreads fear not our Heavenly Father. God brings comfort and peace to His children. We need not fear the lies of Satan, but instead trust in the promises of our God.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Tuesday,
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah.” Jeremiah 33:14, NI
One day God will bring a New Jerusalem down where will people can worship.
Revelation 21
All Things Made New
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. …
This New Jerusalem will never be touched by sin. This city will be glorious beyond our imagination. All troubles that have plagued us throughout our lifetime will be beyond our memories.
Until that day we look forward with great anticipation. We trust God to help us perform in a way that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father. As children of God, our desire should be to please God.
We live in uncertain times. We may feel afraid at times, but we can always be assured our Heavenly Father is with us. Do not give. Stand firm in your faith.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Wednesday,
“Stand Fast”
2 Thessalonians 2:13-17
New King James Version
Stand Fast
13 But we are [a]bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through [b]sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our [c]epistle.
16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, 17 comfort your hearts and [d]establish you in every good word and work.
It is more important than ever to stand fast in our faith. The devil is seeking to weaken the faith of Christians. Sadly, many Christians have left the truth of the Gospel for a Gospel that fits in with the world’s standards. Christians have become more concerned about pleasing the world.
It is heartbreaking when leaders in the Church have left the truth of the Gospel and are leading others with them. Some accepting sin as acceptable to God which is a lie from the devil.
We must guard our hearts and use the Bible as our guide. We may find that we have those we we love and care for abandoned us. We must remind ourselves that pleasing God should be our most important goal.
Pray for Israel.

Faith is Believing in What We Cannot See
To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, and to be certain of the things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1, TEV
Someone I love is losing their faith in God because God has chosen not to heal him. In fairness, this person has lost a lot over the years, but faith in God is trusting in Him when His answer to our prayer is no.
I believe the closer we get to the rapture the more the devil is going to sew doubts into believers. We must keep our faith strong in the Lord. Whatever we have lost on this earth, will not compare to the glories of Heaven.
We must stay focused on our future in Heaven. This person has also stopped believing that Jesus is coming soon. Yet even if we had 20 more years of suffering it would still be worth it all, when we see Jesus.
As Christians, let us pray for those whose faith is waning. Often our words mean nothing to those who are close to us. Our prayers are never wasted.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Saturday,
Preferring Evil Over Good
Isaiah 5:20 ESV
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
The November election has passed and many Democrats won. It is not that they won that is upsetting but the reason why. The news outlets pointed out that they won because the majority of people want the freedom to have an abortion.
We can try to deny that abortion is murder, but when a pregnant woman has an abortion, the baby’s heartbeat ceases. Everyone says that it is my body, my choice. What about the baby’s choice to exist?
I felt no anger about the results of the election, only sadness. Sadness that our Country has fallen so low. Sadness that an unborn baby can be considered an inconvenience.
2 Timothy 3:1-7
New King James Version
Perilous Times and Perilous Men
3 But know this, that in the last days [a]perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, [b]unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
We cannot change a world that is running as fast as it can into sin. We can pray for individuals to come to know Jesus and be saved. We can share the truth of the Gospel. Fear not but put your trust completely in God and worship Him in Spirit and truth.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Monday,
Redemption
You have taken up my cause, O Lord; you have redeemed my life.
Lamentations 3:58The devil likes to remind us of every mistake we have made in our lifetime. He wants us to feel worthless. Yet, when we are saved through the blood of Jesus Christ we are redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus our Savior and Lord.
Our past is not a badge of honor but a showcase of the redemptive power of God. Our testimony should be that we found salvation through the sacrifice of Christ’s death and resurrection. If there be any honor, let it be on Jesus, who made the great sacrifice to save us from an eternity in hell.
God forbid, that we should ever be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus, without there would be no salvation nor redemption of souls. Let us stand firm in our faith even in these days when many have rejected the truth of the Gospel and have chosen a different gospel that will not save anyone from hell.
Mark 8:38
New International Version
38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
John 1:1-5
New King James Version
The Eternal Word
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not [a]comprehend it.

Happy Wednesday,
Be Patient in Waiting
Daily Prayer for November 22
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“Be patient, then, my brothers, until the Lord comes. See how patient a farmer is as he waits for his land to produce precious crops. He waits patiently for the autumn and spring rains. James 5:7, TEV
Lord Jesus, hear our prayer and reveal your hand in our days. May those things be done that bring your future nearer and that let the world see you as the Savior who can lead us to our Father. Bless your Word within us. May our hearts be strengthened, and may we always live in your presence. We draw our life from your Word, from your promise, and we set our hope on you, our Lord and Savior. Show your might, Lord Jesus, and carry out the will of God over all the world, so that we may rejoice when we see God’s glory appear and his will being done on earth as in heaven. Amen.”
Between having a loved one who is losing hope that Jesus is coming back in his lifetime and listening to a ‘preacher’ saying the rapture is not happening now because Christians are not sending enough money to the telethon, it is obvious many are becoming impatient that the rapture has not already happened.
Contrary to what many believe God has a plan for when the rapture is going to happen. While we pray for the soon return of Jesus, we cannot force His hand. Our job is to trust God and believe in the rapture.
God’s plan is always best. When we trust God, we will realize that. The more we trust God, the more at peace we will be. God is sending Jesus back for us soon. We can trust in that. Let us keep our faith in God and trust His timing.
Pray for Israel

Happy Thursday,
Happy Thanksgiving
We are celebrating Thanksgiving, tomorrow so today is a lonely day for us and yet it is also a day of reflection. It still will be hard for us not to have our son with us and of course even more so for his wife and child.
There are many today who have missing children and or mates from their tables. So many unanswered questions of why, floating through our minds.
Let us be honest, being told God knows best does not take away the pain. Yet, we know God does know best.
We know there is coming a day when we will be sitting at the Marriage Table of the Lamb. There will be no tears and no pain. Until then we can take courage that God has not abandoned us. We can walk without fear, knowing the end is the best.
Pray for Israel.
Maranatha,
Betty
Revelation 19:6-9
English Standard Version
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,
“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
the Almighty reigns.7 Let us rejoice and exult
and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and his Bride has made herself ready;8 it was granted her to clothe herself
with fine linen, bright and pure”—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
9 And the angel said[a] to me, “Write this:
Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”

Happy Saturday,
Faith
Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
We cannot see the gates of Heaven. We cannot see our loved ones who have passed on. Yet, by faith, we believe in the promises of God, though unseen.
It is faith that helps us to step out in a new direction, make a move across the Country, or take that new job. It is faith that gets us through when death touches our families.
Faith gives us hope. Faith allows us to trust God when we do not understand why things happen. The more we trust God, the stronger our faith grows. Let us, not give up so close to victory.
Pray for Israel.

Blessed Sunday,Give Thanks
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16–17)
Sometimes it is hard to give thanks to God. When we do, we open our hearts to be filled with the peace of God. God never promised a perfect life. He has only promised to never abandon us.
A thankful heart will find joy in the little blessings from God. When we are thankful we will be able to see that we are truly blessed by God.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Monday,
Rest
Matthew 11:28
New King James Version
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
We can be physically, or emotionally, or spiritually tired. There are times when we are all three. Jesus tells us to go to Him for rest. There are things we go through that only God knows. There are times when we are so overwhelmed that only God’s love for us keeps us going.
The devil tempts us to lose our faith in God and to give up. God calls us to His side, so that He can shine His love upon us. Keep on trusting God even when it feels like we are losing the race. Surely, my friends, there is victory ahead.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Tuesday,
Be Mindful of the Times
“Daily Prayer for November 28
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
Watch, then, because you do not know when the master of the house is coming – it might be in the evening or at midnight or before dawn or at sunrise. If he comes suddenly, he must not find you asleep. What I say to you, then, I say to all: Watch! Mark 13:35–37, TEV
Lord Jesus, our Savior, we look upward to heaven, for you will come from heaven in the glory of the Father. May we remain true to our calling, watching and praying every day and every hour, waiting for you, who will bring into order everything on earth. Bless us and bless our land. Grant us the joy to see you working through your servants toward the salvation of the peoples. Be with us and bless us. May your living Word work in our hearts so that every Sunday, every festival, and every day from now on may be a day of joy. Protect us. Bless us. May your name be praised in our hearts! Amen.”
We should be mindful of the days that we live in. Seeking more than ever to please our Heavenly Father. Seeking not to please man over God. Worshipping God with our whole hearts and minds. Reminding ourselves that our redemption is coming soon. Trusting in God in good and bad times.
Rejoicing in the goodness of God.
Pray for Israel.
Maranatha,

Philippians 4:4-9
New King James Version
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
5 Let your [a]gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Meditate on These Things
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things arelovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Happy Thursday,
What Would Jesus Think?
Years ago it was popular to wear bracelets with WWJD on them. I think we should be more concerned about what would Jesus thinks about what we say and do.
I used to put a lot of stock in what people thought of me. I often spent hours after a gathering going over in my head about what I had said. Then I gave up being a people-pleaser and thought I would just do my best and not worry.
Now I am beginning to think we are better off if we become Jesus-pleasers. Seeking to say and do what would please Jesus. We should do our best to honor God in all that we say and do. God’s opinion of our lives should be the most important thing in our lives. May we honor God in all that we do and say!
Pray for Israel!
Maranatha,

Colossians 1:10
so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
1 John 3:22 – And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
Romans 12:2 – And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:1-2 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Psalms 19:14 – Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Mark 12:33 – And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

We Are Made By God
“Promise #338:
You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Psalm 139:14 (WEB)
I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.”
Saturday we had our family’s Christmas party because my daughter will be visiting her daughter out of state. I had a very nice time at the party, but I missed by deceased son very much.
I have to remind myself that God made me and my son. My son is with God. One day I will join my son in Heaven. For now my job is to please God with my life here on earth. Losing a child can make a person want to give up. Yet I am blessed to still have my daughter and my son’s wife.
This month let us be thankful to the sacrifice God made to purchase our salvation and to trust God even when we do it understand His ways.
Pray for Israel.

“Prophecy – “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners” (Isaiah 61:1).
Fulfillment – Christ Himself fulfilled these scriptures.
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” (Luke 4:18).”
God fulfilled His promise to send a Savior in to the world. Surely, we can believe His promise to return for us and take us to Heaven. We need not fear that we will never see our Christian loved ones again.
God’s promises our sure and true. For now our loved ones who are deceased are for from us, but those who had trusted God for salvation, we can know with certainty that they are with our Heavenly Father.
We know that they are experiencing the glories of Heaven and are at peace and their hearts are filled with a Heavenly joy that is beyond our ability to understand. Yet, our hope is as certain and true as we put our complete trust in God and His promises.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Tuesday,
The Lord is Our Shepherd
“Promise #340:
As a shepherd carries a lamb, I have carried you close to My heart.
Isaiah 40:11 (WEB)
He will feed his flock like a shepherd.
He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom.
He will gently lead those who have their young.”
We do not always realize that God is with us. Often we are in too much stress to feel His presence. Our lack of knowledge of our situation does not diminish the presence of God in our lives.
It is faith in God, that allows us to glimpse His presence in times of grief and great storms that seek to overcome us. We cannot always rejoice in our circumstances but we are called to trust God in all circumstances.
Seek the face of God and call out to Him, even when we are in the midst of overwhelming storms. God will make Himself known to us when we do. We may not understand God’s will, but we can trust Him in all things.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Thursday
What does the Bible say about Without Repentance There Is No Remission?
Without Repentance There Is No Remission Of Sins
Acts 2:38 ESV
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 3:19 ESV
Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,
Acts 17:30 ESV
The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,
Luke 24:47 ESV
And that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Luke 13:3 ESV
No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
2 Corinthians 7:10
New International Version
10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
There is no salvation, without repentance. We must lay aside our pride. We must admit our sins and repent to God. Even as children of God, there are times that we need to repent when we sin. Repentance heals our relationship with God. Let us not be so prideful that we refuse to repent, when we sin.
Pray for Israel.

Happy Friday,
Giving God Pleasure
Psalm 147:11
New King James Version
11 The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him,
In those who hope in His mercy. How marvelous it is to know we are giving pleasure to our Heavenly Father. God gives everything to us including the breath we breathe. We have infirmities and our daily struggles, yet we know God is always with us.
We are not always as grateful to God as we should be. This is something we need to work on. Let us offer up praises to God daily and seek to do His will.
Pray for America. Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Saturday,
Heaven Is Real
Revelations 22
Jesus Testifies to the Churches
12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the [f]Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
14 Blessed are those who [g]do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 [h]But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
People have many different views of Heaven. Some believe Heaven does not exist. Some people believe all good people go to Heaven. The Bible makes it clear that none of us are good enough for Heaven. It is only those who have been washed in the blood of Jesus that will enter Heaven.
We must lay aside our pride and surrender ourselves to God. There is no sin that is worth missing Heaven, for. There is no sin worth going to hell for. Let us lay aside our stubborn will and be willing to live for the God who made us. Seek forgiveness from God and live in His righteousness.
Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 10:9-10
King James Version
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Ephesians 1:7
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
Come to Jesus and be saved. Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Blessed Sunday,
Soon We Will Be With The Lord
1 Thessalonians 4:17
17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
Soon we will lay aside these bodies of clay and put on our immortal bodies. We will see Jesus face to face. We will be able to thank Him for our marvelous gift of salvation.
The Rapture is not a pipe dream. It is our hope for an eternity with our Heavenly Father. We can not even imagine the glories and the beauties that await us.
For now, we worship who we have not seen, but one day we will worship at the feet of the One who made the ultimate sacrifice to give to us the gift of salvation.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.
Maranatha,
Betty
1 Angel voices breathing ever,
Songs of praise to God on high,
Thro’ the gates of light and glory,
Call us now from yonder sky.
Refrain:
Come and worship, come and worship,
Worship Christ our Lord and king;
Come and worship, come and worship,
Worship Christ our Lord and king.
2 O’er the lovely realm of nature
By her sparkling fountains clear,
Thro’ the forest and the valley,
Still the earnest call we hear. [Refrain]
3 When the morning in its beauty
Wakes the earth from sleep profound,
In the music of the song bird
We can hear the grateful sound. [Refrain]
4 In the whisper of the twilight,
When the zephyrs murmur low,
In the sighing of the leaflet,
We can hear where’er we go. [Refrain]
5 Come and worship our creator,
Him whose mercy we adore;
Come and worship our Redeemer,
Sing and praise forevermore. [Refrain]

Happy Tuesday,
HOPE
This season, of Christmas, renews hope in the hearts of many. Sadly, many have abandoned their faith in Jesus, and even some Churches have gone astray.
I saw a picture of a Christmas tree in a ‘Church’ that had pictures of drag queens on their tree. Celebrating sin, right in the Church. God forbid that true children of God would attend such a Church.
Jesus died to save sinners from sin. He did not die so that Churches could embrace sin. True redemption is seeking forgiveness for our sins and then turning away from sin.
There is hope of Heaven for those who lay aside their sinful ways and live for Jesus. There is no sin that is worth spending eternity in hell.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.
Maranatha,
Betty
Ephesians 5:9
New King James Version
9 (for the fruit of the [a]Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
Proverbs 4:11
I have directed you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in upright paths
Proverbs 2:20
So you will walk in the way of good men
And keep to the paths of the righteous.
Psalm 16:11
You will make known to me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
Acts 2:28
‘You have made known to me the ways of life;
You will make me full of gladness with Your presence.’
Psalm 25:4
Make me know Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths.
Psalm 119:35
Make me walk in the path of Your commandments,
For I delight I it.

Happy Friday,
Fix Our Eyes On Jesus
Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.
Ruth 1:14Namoi warned her daughter-in-law that their future was not bright if they stayed with her. Both daughters-in-laws loved Naomi, but only Ruth made the sacrifice to go with her.
To follow Christ in obedience is to be willing to surrender ourselves to God and His will. To be willing to accept His will over our own will. To walk with God, even when the path He has chosen for us, is not the path that we would have chosen.
There is victory ahead when we fix our eyes on Jesus. Faith is trusting God, even when we do not understand God’s reasoning. One day we will be with God and He will make His reasoning clear to us. Until that day we must trust in Him and cling to Him, just as Ruth clung to Naomi.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Monday,
God’s Sheep Know His Voice
I was dreaming this morning. In the dream, I am sitting at the table with a couple of ladies and a man walks in. He tells us that someone told him years ago that when you smell that smell to get out of the kitchen. We ran out of the house and there was an explosion.
When I woke up I realized though I did not see the man, but I knew him by his voice. It was the character Doctor Winchester from the TV show Mash. It came to me that even though I have never heard the audible voice of God, He has been speaking in my heart since the age of 7, when I got saved.
When Jesus calls me home though it be the rapture or death. I will know His voice for He has been speaking to me since I was seven years old.
John 10:27-28
King James Version
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Wednesday,
He Sought Me
“Promise #354:
I will seek after those who worship Me in spirit and truth.
John 4:23 (WEB)
But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers
will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers.”
Whatever age we got saved, it is because we were called by the Holy Spirit. All are called by God but sadly, the majority reject the call. The greatest call a person will ever reason and yet rejected by so many.
Judgment Day for sinners will because they chose sin over salvation. A choice that will have eternal consequences. They will spend eternity regretting those times the Holy Spirit called to them, but they refused the call.
Many talented people have chosen to be God’s servants over the world’s success. Their eternal reward in Heaven will be worth their sacrifice. They will have no regrets.
Pray for Israel. Pray for the salvation of sinners.

Happy Thursday,
Revelations
1 Corinthians 2:12
New English Translation
12 Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God.
God has revealed Himself to the world. Those who accept Jesus as their Savior and read His Holy Word, He reveals Himself to them. I have been a Christian since I was a child. I grew up reading the Bible. Even now at 71, God still reveals new things to me when I read His Holy Word.
The more we read the Bible, the more we learn of God. The more we learn of God the more we understand God. God’s Holy Word is a special gift to the world. Sadly, so many have rejected God’s Holy Word. Far too many who grew up in Church, have abandoned the truth of God.
People have replaced God with what they consider superior thinking. They feel that they are somehow above needing a God in their lives. Sadly, they will spend an eternity in hell, regretting that decision.
Those of us who love God, let us rejoice in knowing that the creator of all things died for us. He loved us so much that He sent His Son to live among us and to die a horrible death to provide redemption to those who would only accept His precious gift of salvation.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.
Maranatha,
Betty

Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my [a]strength and my Redeemer. -

Happy Friday,
The Perfect Gift
People run around this time of year looking for that perfect gift for each person on their list. It is great to celebrate Christmas with our loved ones. We make many great memories to cherish.
The greatest gift ever given to mankind is salvation through Jesus. His gift is sadly ignored by millions.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” – John 3:16
I remember a television ad that said “The gift that keeps on giving”. Jesus is truly is the gift that keeps on giving. He saves our souls, He walks with us, He protects us, and one day He will welcome us into Heaven.
“As James 1:17 describes, God is the perfect giver. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
This Christmas may we remember the reason for our celebration. May we glorify our Heavenly Father in song and prayer.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.
Maranatha,
Betty
Lyrics to It Came Upon A Midnight Clear.
It came upon a midnight clear,
That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth,
To touch their harps of gold:
“Peace on the earth, goodwill to men,
From heaven’s all-gracious King.”
The world in solemn stillness lay,
To hear the angels sing.Still through the cloven skies they come,
With peaceful wings unfurled,
And still their heavenly music floats
O’er all the weary world;
Above its sad and lowly plains,
They bend on hovering wing,
And ever o’er its Babel sounds
The blessèd angels sing.Yet with the woes of sin and strife
The world has suffered long;
Beneath the angel-strain have rolled
Two thousand years of wrong;
And man, at war with man, hears not
The love-song which they bring;
O hush the noise, ye men of strife,
And hear the angels sing. And ye, beneath life’s crushing load,
Whose forms are bending low,
Who toil along the climbing way
With painful steps and slow,
Look now! for glad and golden hours
come swiftly on the wing.
O rest beside the weary road,
And hear the angels sing! For lo!, the days are hastening on,
By prophet bards foretold,
When with the ever-circling years
Comes round the age of gold
When peace shall over all the earth
Its ancient splendors fling,
And the whole world give back the song
Which now the angels sing. -

Happy Saturday,
The Birth Announcement
Jesus’ birth was announced to shepherds and not to Kings and Queens. Jesus sought out the poor, needy, and sick.
Luke 2:8-20
New King James Version
Glory in the Highest
8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And [a]behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a [b]manger.”
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
14
“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill[c] toward men!”Jesus did not come to this earth to seek attention from the rich and powerful. He came to provide salvation to lost souls.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

The First Noel lyrics
The first Noel the angel did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay.
In fields where they lay a keeping their sheep
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel. They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the east beyond them far,
And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued both day and night.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel. And by the light of that same star
Three wise men came from the country far;
To seek for a king was their intent,
And to follow the star wherever it went.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel. This star drew nigh to the north-west,
O’er Bethlehem it took it’s rest,
And there it did both stop and stay,
Right over the place where Jesus lay.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel. Then entered in those wise men three,
Fell rev’rently upon their knee,
And offered there in His presence
Their gold and myrrh and frankincense.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the kind of Israel. Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord,
That hath made heaven and earth of naught,
And with his blood mankind hath bought.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel -

Happy Christmas Eve
The Best Christmas Gift
The best Christmas gift you can only give to yourself. The best Christmas gift is salvation. You cannot give salvation to anyone else. You can share the Gospel but you cannot force salvation on anyone.
Every individual has to choose to be saved for themselves. Each person chooses where they will spend their eternity by their personal choice to accept God’s gift of salvation or to resist God’s gift, the choice is theirs.
God chose to send His only Son to die for our redemption from sin. Each of us must make the choice to accept salvation or refuse the gift. There is no middle ground.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.
Maranatha,
Betty
Lyrics to O Holy Night.
O holy night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
‘Til He appear’d and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born;
O night divine, O night, O night Divine.Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming,
Here come the wise men from Orient land.
The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger;
In all our trials born to be our friend. He knows our need, to our weakness is no stranger,
Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend!
Behold your King, Before Him lowly bend!Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother;
And in His name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
Let all within us praise His holy name.Christ is the Lord! O praise His Name forever,
His power and glory evermore proclaim.
His power and glory evermore proclaim. -

Merry Christmas
Luke 2:1-20
The Birth of Jesus
2 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.
4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14
“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Happy Wednesday,
Choose To Walk In The Light
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12 NIV
We can choose to walk in the light of God. We can choose to follow God and walk-in His path. Sadly we often, get side-stepped into paths that lead us astray. We often choose our will over God’s will.
Walking in God’s will often requires sacrifice. Giving up our will for God’s will is not always easy. Yet we will always find God’s will is the best. God did not call us to an easy life but to a holy life.
Some day we will walk with God on streets of Gold, where there is no saddneess of pain. Until then let us seek God’s will, in all that we do.
Revelation 21:21
The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Thursday,
Thinking Outloud
Sometimes when I cannot sleep, I lie in bed and think about past decisions that I have made. I wonder how my life would have been if I had made different choices.
I often think it would be nice if God had shown us the different choices we had and what the results would be in advance. This would allow us to make wiser choices.
This is not how God made us. He wanted us to choose for ourselves. God loves so much that when we make unwise choices, if we seek His help He will guide us and be with us.
We can seek God’s will and guidance before we make a choice before we make a decision, but ultimately we have to decide. Whatever path we choose if we trust God, He will never abandon us.
Hebrews 9:27
King James Version
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
If we choose to reject salvation through Christ, we cannot change that decision after death. We must choose salvation before we die.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Friday,
Live In The Present
If you are like me, you spend many hours thinking about the past mistakes you have made. Wondering if you how you could have done things differently. Mentally punishing yourself for past mistakes.
If that is not enough stress, we can spend hours worrying about what could happen in the future. We cannot change the past and we have little control over the future.
We must focus on the present. We only control the actions of today. If we focus on pleasing God, we are so much better off. Living for God is gathering rewards in Heaven. God help us to seek His will today.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.
Maranatha,

“Promise #364:
I will guide you to the very end, for I will be your God.
Psalm 48:14 (WEB)
For this God is our God forever and ever.
He will be our guide even to death.”
We do not know what tomorrow will bring. Yet, we know who will be with us today and tomorrow. Our Heavenly Father will walk with us and never abandon us.
There are things we go through that only God knows about. There are trials that we can only share with God. Yet, who better to share our trials with than our Creator?
We can find peace in the storms of life, when we seek comfort and protection in the arms of God. We may have times of depression. There are times that we struggle just to survive but STILL, God is with us. Never forget that!
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Monday,
Happy New Year
Last night we closed the book on 2023. Today we open the book to a new year. 2023 in many ways was a hard year. The economy was awful. So many families were affected by crime and hardships.
We have no idea what this year holds. We can still be at peace, because God knows the future and will be with us every step we take. He will guide us, if we listen to the Holy Spirit. We can look forward to the future knowing whatever happens we can put our complete trust in our Heavenly Father.
Pray for Israel. Pray for the hostages to be released. Pray for lost souls to find salvation in Christ.

Happy Tuesday,
Give In, Then Move On
Christmas was hard. We were both sick and depressed. Christmas is still hard without our son and being sick made it worse. Our daughter was out of state with her daughter. We did not want to make anyone else sick so we were by ourselves. There will be times in life when we fall into depression.
It is not a sin to be depressed. The important thing is not to stay there. Allow yourself to grieve and then move on. Grieving is not something you move on completely. There will be times when grief hits you out of nowhere.
Seek comfort from God, remember past memories, and allow yourself to mourn. The closer we get to God, the more we can find peace even in bad times.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
New King James Version
The Comfort of Christ’s Coming
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen [a]asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who [b]sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are [c]asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
As Christians, we know we will see our saved loved ones again. We do mourn their loss and miss them so much but we we do have hope for a glorious reunion in Heaven someday.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for salvation for lost souls.

We often begin a new year by making New Year Resolutions. Let us begin this year, by seeking to know God more. We know God more, by reading His Holy Word and prayer.
We have to make an effort to know God better. We have to make an effort to live a holy life. With the help of God, we can grow in grace and holiness this year.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’”
Romans 1:16-17It is sad, when Christians are ashamed of God’s Word. When they are embarrassed when Scriptures about sin are read. A sinner must confess their sins to God to be saved.
You must know that you are in need of a Savior in order to admit that you are a sinner. When we become more concerned about hurting people than speaking the truth, we are in spiritual danger.
Do not hide from the truth of the Gospel. Speak the truth in love. A person must lay aside their pride and admit they are a sinner in order to be saved. Salvation is too important for us to be more concerned about being politically correct than speaking the truth.
Romans 3:23
New King James Version
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
We are born into this world sinners, but Jesus offers us redemption if we are willing admit that we are sinners and accept Him as God of our lives.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Friday,
God Chose Us
“Promise #5:
I chose you to be adopted into My family before creation.
Ephesians 1:4-5 (WEB)
4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love; 5 having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,”
We are not accidentally saved. God chose us before we were even created. We may wander from time to time, but in God’s great love for us, He always calls us Home.
Do not take for granted salvation. Salvation is the greatest gift ever. Salvation will never decay. Our salvation will last throughout eternity.
Let us never forget to praise God for such a wonderous gift. What a mighty God we serve!
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls,

Happy Saturday,
Read God’s Holy Word Daily
“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32 NIV)
People—friends—can help you to survive, but God’s help lets you live in pure freedom!
That’s why it’s so important for me to say to you today: Don’t treat the Bible like you treat medicine. Don’t just put it in the closet. We often wait for God to speak to us but do not open the Bible”
Let us make 2024 the year that we read God’s Word daily. May the Holy Bible become as important to us as eating food. After all just as food is for the body, God’s Word is good for our souls.
We must make time in our daily lives for reading the Bible. Regular Bible reading does not happen by accident. God talks to us through His Holy Word.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.
Maranatha,
Betty

1 Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God.◦ Refrain:
Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I’m standing on the promises of God.2 Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God.3 Standing on the promises I now can see
Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me;
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,
Standing on the promises of God.4 Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,
Standing on the promises of God.5 Standing on the promises I cannot fall,
List’ning every moment to the Spirit’s call,
Resting in my Savior as my all in all,
Standing on the promises of God -

Happy Monday,
Seek God First
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Matthew 6:33We can get so caught up with day-to-day living that God becomes an afterthought in our lives. We do so much better, when we begin the day with prayer and Thanksgiving.
Not only do we remind ourselves that God is with us, but we are showing honor to our Heavenly Father. We want God to watch over us all the time and yet we often lose sight of Him. Let us strive to keep our focus on God, each day.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Wednesday,
We Will See God
In my flesh I shall see God.
Job 19:2Even Job knew that he would see God. Every person will see God. We will either be taken in the rapture to see God as His child or stand before Him at the White Throne of Judgment as a sinner.
We choose which way we will stand before God. The time to decide when we are alive. After our death, it is too late to get saved. We cannot pray deceased people into Heaven. Everyone must choose for themselves, in their lifetime.
We can and should pray for lost souls. Pray that they will accept Jesus as their Savior before it is too late. The Rapture will happen soon. The Bible says that today is the day of salvation. We must not keep putting salvation off. When we do not accept Jesus as our Savior, then we are refusing salvation. There is no middle ground.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.
Maranatha,
Betty

Promise #11:
My plan for your future is filled with hope.
Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh,
thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We do not know what this year holds. Some people feel that we could have another attack like 9/11, but much worse. Yet, we can be at peace for we know God knows all things.
Philippians 1:19-26
New King James Version
To Live Is Christ
19 For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, 20 according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die isgain. 22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I [a]cannot tell. 23 [b]For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. 24 Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you. 25 And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith, 26 that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again.
Whether we live or die, God is with us. We do not have to live in fear. We can put all our trust in God and fear not. We will live in peace when we put our complete trust in God and not worry.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Monday,
Heroes
Do not make an idol out of mankind. When you find out the truth about them, you will be disappointed. Just because a person is a Reverand does not mean that they preach the truth.
Even some famous Reverands can have skeletons in their closets. Some do not even believe the complete truth of the Gospel. Some have a girlfriend even though they are married.
Instead, let us worship the God of Heaven. Put our complete truth in our Heavenly Father. We can admire people but do not make them into idols.
God only should be the one we worship.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Tuesday,
Praise God, Daily
TODAY’S DAILY PRAYER
TODAY, JANUARY 16
I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Psalm 145:1-2, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, we come before you and thank you with all our hearts. You know all that we are thankful for. Continue to sustain us, we pray, and give us strength for the paths on which you lead us. Even when we must suffer and fight long, hard battles, we know that everything has its right purpose and will still lead us to your goal. For all this we praise and thank you. Protect us in mind, heart, and spirit. Keep us courageous, and lift us above all discouragement through your Spirit, who will renew our lives forevermore. Amen.
We can get so caught up in life that we forget to praise God. We even forget to pray some days. Let us make an effort to do better this year. We will not accidentally fall into the habit of daily praise and prayer. We must make an effort.
Praise and prayer are not just about lifting up God, but these two things lift us up. The more we praise God and pray the more we bring joy and peace into our lives. Remember joy and happiness are not the same. Happiness is temporary but joy is eternal.
Psalm 100:4
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts withpraise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
We change and the world changes, but Jesus will never change. His promises are permanent. We can always depend on Him. We can always trust in God.
Let us not fear the future but put complete trust in God, always. He will never abandon nor fail us. We are secure in our Heavenly Father.

Happy Saturday,
He Is Our God
“Daily Prayer for January 20
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10, RSV
Dear Father in heaven, we thank you that you are our Father and that we may have you with us. We thank you that we can know you are leading us by your hand. Give us your Spirit of understanding so that we may always see your mighty and powerful hand guiding us on all our ways. Help us where we fall short. Help us, for we are weak and are often in situations where we cannot help ourselves. But you are strong. You give light to our hearts. Through the Savior, Jesus Christ, we can direct our lives cheerfully, joyfully, and patiently toward the great goal set before us your children, and before the whole world. Amen”
He is our God, our Heavenly Father, our protector, and our healer. We need not fear the things happening in the world today, for our God is in control. We can trust God with the very breath we take.
Though we grow weary and tired, God will sustain us. He will help us walk through the storms of life. When we keep our eyes on Jesus, the cares of this will grow dim. When we worship God through our troubles, God will shine a bit of heaven into our hearts.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

God Cares For Me
“Promise #22:
Cast all your worries on Me, for I really care about you.
1 Peter 5:7 (WEB)
casting all your worries on him,
because he cares for you.”
It is easy to begin to doubt that God cares for us. We get so caught up in the cares of this world, that we begin to believe that God has forgotten about us.
Every day there is a new problem for this world to face. If we are not careful our faith in God can weaken. We need to remind ourselves, that God is still watching over us. It is right for us to put our complete trust in God. He will never fail us.
Offer up praises to our God our Creator. Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Wednesday,
“Promise #24:
My love will persevere through every situation.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB)
4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, 5 doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 6 doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
The Greek word for love used in this passage of Scripture is the word agape which speaks of the unconditional love of God. Today’s promise speaks of the tenacious heart of our Father that will simply not give up on us no matter what we go through.”
There is not a thing we go through that God will not only be with us, but He will sustain us. We spend way too much time worrying about what may never happen. Trusting in God is an honor and not an obligation. We trust in God because we love Him. The more we love God, the more we trust in Him.
When we trust God we do not have to fear the outcome of the coming election. God already knows who will win. No matter who wins, it is God that will sustain us.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Friday,
Heavenly Father, We Need To Feel You
Daily Prayer for January 26
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. Psalm 145:18-19, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, Almighty God, your children look to you in prayer. Hold us always by the hand. Reveal to us that you hear us, that you are among us providing what is best for us, to the glory of your name. In this hour let us experience something from you, the good and merciful One. May we always be glad and thankful for all we have already received from you and for all we are still to receive in our lives. Amen”
It is not enough to be told God loves us. We need to feel His love, ourselves. There are times when God directs us through desserts, but we cannot always live in the desserts.
Heavenly Father, take us through the rain of your blessings so that we can feel your love rain down upon us. Let us feel your love shine upon our faces. Let our hearts overfill with your kindness.
In return let us worship you in spirit and truth. Let us put you above all people and things. Guide us so that we can live in a way that is pleasing to you in all we do.
Amen,
Betty

Be Steadfast In The Lord
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Let us not be whishy-washy in our faith. Hold on to our faith for it is indeed our lifeline and our hope in our salvation and our ticket to Heaven. The devil uses many ways to get us off track. We must be vigilant in our walk with Jesus.

Happy Monday,
Jesus Mild and Meek
Isaiah 8:11
New International Version
11 This is what the Lord says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people:
God is mild and meek, but sometimes He has to discipline His people. Just like children, we do not like to be disciplined. Yet, we could be in danger, if God allowed us to go our own way.
We sometimes go off the path God has chosen for us. We can begin to allow sin to creep into our lives. God wants to convict us before we do major damage to ourselves through sin and iniquity.
The devil seeks to lead Christians astray. Sometimes even Christian friends and Christian leaders can lead us into sin. We must be on guard. We do this by reading God’s Holy Word and daily prayer.
1 Corinthians 11:32
New International Version
32 Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.
Hebrews 12:5
New International Version
5 And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says,
“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Tuesday,
What Not To Say
When we go through troubles and pain, it does not help us to be told that others have been in the same situation. Lots of people have had broken bones, but when you have a broken bone you are miserable and it does not matter to you how many other people have had broken bones, you are still miserable.
We cannot comfort someone who has lost a loved one by telling them others have lost loved ones. We can remind them that we are praying for them. We can let them know that God can and will comfort them but telling them that others have been in their shoes is not helpful.
Psalm 34:18 NIV
18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 147:3 NIV
3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Isaiah 41:10 NIV
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Thursday,
Wisdom
The majority of people who work for God, do so out of humility. Most Preachers are called by God to preach. God has proved in His Holy Word, that He does not call people because they are equipped for service. He equips those He calls.
James 1:5
New King James Version
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
God encourages His people to ask for wisdom. In my humble opinion, Preachers should not look for a sermon online to preach, but to pray that God will guide them in what to preach. God knows who will be in attendance before Sunday. He is willing to give the Preacher what is needed for the people who will be in attendance.
Let all who serve God, do so in humility and love for God and others. Let us not be prideful of our calling, but be grateful that God chooses to use us for His glory.
Colossians 3:12
Character of the New Man
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
James 4:7

Humility Cures Worldliness
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Happy Friday,
Called To Serve
Woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! 1 CORINTHIANS 9:16
The call to serve was so strong on the Apostle Paul, that he knew that he would be miserable if he had abandoned his calling. All of God’s children are called to a task for God.
Mothers of young children are called to teach God and His ways to their children. Musicians and singers are called to use their talents for the work of God. Teachers and Preachers are to share the Gospel to their charges.
We are all called to the mission of praying for lost souls. It should be our privilege to pray for Pastors and leaders. If we seek God’s face and ask Him, He will guide us into the calling He has for us. Open your hearts and minds to God’s call for us.

Happy Saturday,
Daily Prayer for February 3
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Galatians 3:26-27, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, we may come to you, for you have counted us as your children. Our hearts long to come to you, our God and Savior. May your Word bless us and restore us. Give us courageous hearts to bear the distress of our times. Let a light arise in our days so that people care about your will. Then the need on earth shall come to an end, your name shall be honored, and your will be done. Lord God, you alone are our help. Be merciful to us. Stretch out your hand so that all people may turn to you and to your commandments, and your will may be done on earth. Amen
Reading one’s e-mail can be discouraging. In Tennessee, a man was convicted for holding a sign with a Scripture verse on it. This was the verse:
Psalm 139:13
New King James Version
13 For You formed my inward parts;
You [a]covered me in my mother’s womb.Joe Bidon wants this man put in prison for ten years. To put this in perspective, a woman was charged with involuntary manslaughterer after she stabbed her boyfriend over 100 times, because she was under the influence of marijuana. She got no time in prison.
Christians we need the Holy Spirit to comfort us in these days. We need His encouragement to stand up for unborn babies. May God help us to have courage in these dark times.

Promise #35:
You are holy and free from blame because of Jesus Christ’s death.
Colossians 1:21-22 (WEB)
21 You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works,
22 yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death,
to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him,
Without the death of Jesus and His resurrection, there would be no remission of sin. All would face an eternity in hell. God loves mankind so much that He sent His Son to live, die, and rise again for our salvation.
Sadly far too many reject the marvelous gift of salvation. Let those of us who have chosen to be accepted into the family of God, praise the Name of God.

Happy Monday,
The Bible Reveals Itself
The prophet Daniel was given a vision of the Second Coming. Daniel lived many many years before Jesus was born on this earth, yet God gave Him a vision of Christ’s Second Coming.
Daniel 7:13-14
New King James Version
13
“I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
And they brought Him near before Him.14
Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.God allowed Daniel to see what the Apostle John would see many years later.
“Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.” So shall it be! Amen.
Revelation 1:7This prophecy has yet to take place but just as Daniel and John looked forward to the prophecy taking place, so can we. One take Jesus will come in power and glory and those who rejected salvation through Christ but chose not only to worship satan, but chose to accept his mark in their bodies will mourn.
When Jesus returns for the Second Coming, we will not be watching from Heaven. We will come back with Him.

Happy Tuesday,
Control Our Anger
“So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.”
James 1:1All of us have areas in our lives where we are prone to get angry. We know and so does the devil. The devil loves to push our buttons. It is easy to react, but we are better off when we stop and pray.
We cannot control the actions of another person, but we can control ours. Sometimes we have to walk away from a situation and take time to pray and get our bearings.
There will be times when no matter what we do, we cannot please a person. We do what we should and then we distance ourselves from that person. Every relationship cannot be fixed.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Monday,
They Could Not See
We were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened. LUKE 24:21
The Disciples were sharing their grief with a stranger. Sharing that they had believed a man named Jesus would be the savior of Israel. They could not see that the man that they were talking to, was Jesus, Himself.
The Disciples were also blinded to the fact that Jesus’ mission was not to save Israel, only. Jesus came to save the world. We can also be blinded to why God allows us to down paths that are unpleasant.
God sees the whole picture of our lives. From our first breath until our last breath on earth. We go through many situations that we do not understand. God uses every situation to lead us to a final ending. God even uses those times when we leave His will for our own good. We must trust God through all things.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Friday,
Return To Our First Love
Revelation 2:4-6
New International Version
4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. 6 But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
We can become so distracted by so many things today. We can end up putting God last in our lives. May God remind us of how important He really is in our lives. He should be first in our lives.
Worship God in spirit and in truth and in all circumstances. Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Tuesday,
Be Humble
“At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, ‘Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’ Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.’”
Matthew 18:1-5We must humble ourselves to become a Christian. Sadly many Christians over time become proud. While we are to speak the truth in love, we must be careful that we do not think better of ourselves than we ought,
Just because we do not sin as we see those in this world do, does not make us better than others. Our salvation is a gift from God. We do not earn our way into Heaven.
Let us pray with love for lost souls. God says He hates pride. Let us be humble and kind to one another. Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Valentines Day,
Happy Valentines Day
I wish every couple a Happy Valentines Day. Let us remember that today is a sad day for many. Some men and women are alone today because their mate is away from home serving our Country. Some are divorced. Some have never married. The hardest hit are those whose mates have passed on.
Let us pray for all those suffering loneliness today. Pray that God will comfort them and encourage them. Only God can provide comfort on days like this.
2 Corinthians 13:11
Greetings and Benediction
Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Thursday,
“Am I My Brother’s Keeper?”
This was Cain’s answer to God, when God asked him where Able was. God and Cain both knew where Able was. God wanted Cain to volunteer to God what He had done. Cain wanted to hide his sin.
Most of us think we can hide our sins from others. But, what does the Bible say?
Numbers 32:23
King James Version
23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out.
We cannot hide our sins from God. When we do not repent to God, He will
often make public our sins and we will suffer shame. Our sins affect others. Especially when a Christian is hiding unrepented sin. We bring shame to ourselves, to other Christians, and to God.
Romans 14:7
New King James Version
7 For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.
When we sin repent to God and turn away from sin. Be honest with ourselves and with God. Seek to live in righteousness for ourselves and to the glory of God.
Pray for the people of Israel and for lost souls.

May We Do More
Revelation 2:18-19
New International Version
To the Church in Thyatira
18 “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write:
These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. 19 I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.
May God help us to be doing more for God then we did at the beginning of our salvation. God help us not to be complacent as we age. May our prayers be more sincere. May we be kinder to those we come in contact with? May God in His mercy come for His children soon.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Seek God For Guidance
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. In all your ways obey him. Then he will make your paths smooth and straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Have respect for the LORD and avoid evil..” (Proverbs 3:5-7 NIRV)
Self-help books have been the rage for many years. Bestsellers are supposed to tell us how to be a better person, wives, husbands, and parents. The writer usually has the best intentions, but there is no one size that fits all.
Every marriage is different. Every family is different. The advice does not fit every circumstance. We need to seek God’s advice. What if my question is not spelled out in the Bible? We ask God to guide us. Then we listen to hear His voice.
Pray for Israel and for lost souls.

Fear Not
Psalm 56:4
New King James Version
4 In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust;
I will not fear.
What can flesh do to me?Thoughts can be a marvelous thing. We can get many ideas from our thoughts. Yet, the devil can put thoughts in our heads to discourage us.
God knows that and warns us.
2 Corinthians 10:5
King James Version
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
When the devil sends evil thoughts into our heads, take control of our thoughts, and remind ourselves of the marvelous works God has done in our lives, and begin to praise His Name.
Cast out any thought that is contrary to God’s Holy Word. Do not let the devil or other people mislead us.

Slow To Anger
There is no one stronger than God. It is in His great mercy that He is slow to anger. With just one breath, He could wipe out every person on this earth. In His loving kindness, He gives us so many chances to get saved.
He shows great mercy and patience to His children. We fail God so many times and yet He does not give up on us. Let us be thankful children and praise His Name daily.
Nahum 1:3
New King James Version
3 The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,
And will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way
In the whirlwind and in the storm,
And the clouds are the dust of His feet.Pray for the children of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Saturday,
Faith
“Promise #55:
I will reward those who diligently seek Me with a heart of faith.
Hebrews 11:6 (WEB)
Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him,
for he who comes to God must believe that he exists,
and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.”
We must have a little bit of faith to become a Christian.
“The very foundation of our relationship to God is our faith in Him. If we don’t believe that He exists, it will be difficult for us to cultivate a living, loving relationship with Him. Our very salvation comes through our faith as Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8-9… 8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, that no one would boast.”(WEB)
Even when we are sinners, the Holy Spirit gives us a portion of faith and convicts our hearts of our sins. Each time we reject the Holy Spirit, we kill a bit of that faith. Eventually, the Holy Spirit will no longer reach out to us. Because we have hardened our hearts beyond redemption.
As Christians, we should cultivate our faith in God, tending to our faith as a gardener tends to their gardens. We must not starve our faith, but feed our faith on God’s Holy Word and daily prayers to God.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Tuesday,
Sin Cultivates in The Mind and Heart
Before the action of sin, we allow it to grow in our hearts and minds. The first sin began before Eve and Adam took a bite of the forbidden fruit. God had told them this:
Genesis 2:15-17
New King James Version
15 Then the Lord God took [a]the man and put him in the garden of Eden to [b]tend and keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you[c] shall surely die.”
Yet, when satan asked about the tree, she said this:
Genesis 3:3
New King James Version
3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”
Eve was so angry with God for withholding that one tree that she added that God said that they could not touch the fruit. She was bitter that God told them not to eat of the fruit. Eve had cultivated the sin of bitterness in her heart.
The Bible said that every evening God came and walked with Adam and Eve. Eve was not able to see how glorious it was that God chose to walk and talked with them. Eve became envious of God.
Genesis 3:4-5
New King James Version
4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
The appeal of the fruit was to rebel against God’s command and then become like God. Just as Eve told a lie to satan about touching the fruit, satan lied to Eve implying that she would be come like God. Before Adam and Eve they were clothed in righteousness. When they sinned, they were no longer righteous, and their nakedness was revealed. Adam and Eve did not become Gods as satan hinted they would be, but became sinners, bringing sin into the world.
When we are tempted to sin, we should pray to God to help us resist sin and to stop thinking about it. The more we brood over a sin, the more the devil will make a sin appetizing.
James 4:7
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Wednesday,
Every week there is another tragic murder. People no longer have control of their tempers or their evil tendencies. It is so sad. How do people survive without hope in God?
The longing in my heart for the rapture is stronger than ever. To be with my God, my Savior, and my King is my greatest dream. Let us never cease to pray for God to protect our loved ones and friends from danger. Seek to do God’s will while we are still able. Put our complete trust in God and fear, not.
Pray for the people in Israel. Pray for salvation to come to lost souls.

Those who overcome will sit with My Son on His throne.
Revelation 3:21 (WEB)
He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne,
as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.
The atonement that we have in Christ is absolutely amazing! When Jesus died on the cross, He exchanged His life for our life, so that His Father could become our Father (John 20:17). In today’s promise, we read that Jesus tells the church at Laodicea… That those who overcome will sit with Him on His throne just as He sits with Father on His Father’s throne.”
Life can be hard, but we cannot even comprehend how glorious, Heaven will be!
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Run to Jesus
We long for the rapture, because we long to be in the presence of our Lord and Savior. True we are tired and this world seems to get worse every day, but being with our God should be our number one reason for longing for the rapture.
While we are here let us work for God and never forget to pray for those who are lost. Eternity is forever and what we choose in this life will determine where we spend eternity. Continue to pray for Israel.

Blessed Sunday,
Life is Temporal, Eternity is Forever
“Promise #62:
The grass will dry up and flowers will fail but My Word will endure forever.
1 Peter 1:24-25 (WEB)
24 For, “All flesh is like grass, and all of man’s glory like the flower in the grass.
The grass withers, and its flower falls; 25 but the Lord’s word endures forever.”
This is the word of Good News which was preached to you.”
If you are like me you have wasted many hours in your life worrying and getting upset over what you can now see as trivial matters. Who of us has not panicked over not being able to find our car keys?
How much time have we wasted trying to impress someone, who really did not care about us?
Yet, we often neglect the most important thing and that is our relationship with God. We cannot please everyone. Let us do our best to treat everyone fairly but concentrate on pleasing our Heavenly Father, first and foremost.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for those who are lost.

Happy Monday,
Pray for Strength From God
“By faith, we also receive Jesus as the One who dwells in our hearts. As Paul wrote, “I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong” (Ephesians 3:16–17 nlt).
Not a casual visitor, Jesus is an empowering permanent resident of all who follow Him. May we open wide the doors of our hearts and welcome Him.”
Why is it that some Christians seem to be stronger than us? It is because, they have strong roots in the Lord. The more time we spend with the Lord, the stronger our roots will be. We must make an effort to spend more time with God. We must make the choice.
I know it is hard sometimes. Life can be overwhelming. We can face troubles on multiple sides at times. This is when we need to draw closer to God more than ever. Seek His face and ask for comfort, encouragement, and strength.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

I have chosen the weak things of this world to confound the strong.
1 Corinthians 1:27 (WEB)
but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise.
God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;”
There is no shame in being weak. Many things can cause us to be weak. Lack of rest, medical conditions, and discouragement are just a few. Yet we are still God’s children. He loves us even in our weaknesses.
God can use us even when we are weak, if we are willing to make ourselves available to God. Come to the lord no matter what condition we are in and trust God is all situations.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.
Psalm 118:8There are many people offering a false hope today. Our true hope is I’m the Lord our God. Only He can give us salvation that will last through eternity.
He is always with us. He will never abandon us. We can trust God in every situation.
Let us praise God together and worship Him in spirit and in truth. We know not what tomorrow will bring, but God does and He will be with us.

Be Followers of Christ
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
Mark 8:34Following Jesus means more than listening to him and agreeing with his teachings. Jesus says that whoever wants to be his disciple “must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow” him.”
It is not enough to hear a great sermon and say Amen and then walk away and never think about what you heard again. You must apply the principles to your life.
James 1:22-25
New King James Version
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
Being a follower of Christ is not always easy, especially in this world, today. As a Christian woman, you are expected to uphold the truths of the Bible. When you do not, do not be surprised to be told that your husband rules you. It is not our husbands but our God who guides us in His truths.
One day we will leave this world and live with our Heavenly Father, forever. We will say goodbye to a sinful world and enter a perfect Heaven. The greatest thing we can do for ourselves is follow Christ.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

To Whom Do You Belong?
1 Samuel 30:13
“In the life of faith, neutrality is not an option. We are either ranked under the banner of the Lord Jesus, to serve and fight His battles, or we are slaves of the dark prince, Satan. “To whom do you belong?”
We have to choose who will serve. Will we serve God our self? Serving self is serving the devil. We have to choose for ourselves. Our parents or our grandparents cannot choose for us. Our mates cannot choose for our. This is a very serious decision we must make for ourselves. One day we will take our last breath on this earth. We will spend eternity where we chose to spend it. Any thing we give up for God will be so worth it to be with God for eternity.

I see all your hardships and I care about your suffering.
Psalm 31:7 (WEB)
I will be glad and rejoice in your loving kindness,
for you have seen my affliction.
You have known my soul in adversities.
The English Standard Version of the Psalm 31:7 says this… I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul (ESV) King David, who wrote this psalm, knew a lot about hardship and affliction. He experienced much loss, betrayal, grief, and violence in his tumultuous life.”
Our suffering and pain does not go unnoticed by God. He sees our tears. He sees our struggles. The burdens we bear in this life will be forgotten when we see Jesus face to face. We are not capable of understanding the joy that awaits us in Heaven.
Let us work for God and bear our burdens with grace. Rejoicing in the knowledge that it will not be long and this life and all its troubles will be a faded memory.

“They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.”We need not fear the world around us. We can wholly trust in God. He will preserve us until He comes to take us to Heaven. We can rest in our Heavenly Father with complete trust and confidence.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Blessed Sunday,
“The Truth Will Set You Free”
Daily Prayer for March 17
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31–32, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, grant that we may come to you in the Spirit. Through your Spirit gather us and many others on earth around our Lord Jesus Christ, the great Savior of humankind. May our hearts become truly free because you deliver us from all bondage to our own natures and to the world around us. As free people may we be led safely through distress, fear, and want, through need and death. May we become happy children whom Jesus Christ has called to life, children who are not discouraged by the struggle but who fight joyfully for your kingdom until it can be revealed to all the world. Amen”
Unfortunately, there are many Preachers and Teachers who are leading the sheep astray. As children of God, we must learn the truth so we can recognize a lie.
Just because a person is a Pastor, Teacher, Prophet, or Prophetess, does not mean they speak the truth of God. I unfriended a young lady on Facebook, on Friday. She was so excited. She said that God spoke to her and said that she would be one of the 144 thousand witnesses during the tribulation. She was so happy that God had granted her desire.
Sadly, this young lady does not know God’s Word. The 144 thousand will be Jewish male virgins.
The Lamb and the 144,000 (Revelation 14:1-5)
“Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps, and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb, and in their mouth no lie was found, for they are blameless.
There are those that do not want to know the truth. Nothing you can say will change their minds. Sometimes it is best to walk away from such a person.
Know the Bible for yourself. Verify everything you are told with God’s Holy Word. Walk with God and put your trust in Him.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Betty

Happy Monday,
Do Not Pray, Against God’s Will
Last night I could not sleep. While lying in bed I thought of the lady who calls herself a Prophetess. She is asking to be left behind when the rapture happens. Nowhere in the Bible does it say for someone to delay salvation to be left behind.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
New King James Version
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Sadly in her desire to over rule God. She believes in her heart God spoke to her. The Bible makes it clear that God will never confirm something that is contrary to His Holy Word. Only a demon would have told her that.
It is a very scary thing to determine in your heart that you want something that is contrary to the Bible. Her soul is in mortal danger when she takes the word of a demon over God. Pray for this lady that it might not be too late for her to get right with God and to put God’s desires over her own.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Betty

Happy Thursday,
Silence
Sometimes we need silence to hear the whispers of God.
The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.
1 Kings 19:11-12 (NIV)
We often have so many voices coming at us especially by the so called world’s experts, but what we really need is some alone time with God. God is the true expert. Seek His advice first before others.
It is nice to get other’s opinions on things. Especially someone who has been what we are going through. Just make sure their advice does not contradict the Bible.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Saturday,
Confusion
When I get very tired, I often get confused. Sometimes, I have to stop to remember what I am doing. This happens to a lot of people and can be frustrating.
What is dangerous is when Christians do not know God’s Word, like they should, and listen to false teachers and Preachers. If they are not careful; they can be led astray. This is unnecessary. If we compare what anyone writes or says to the Bible then we will not be led astray.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will convict you if you have allowed false teaching in your heart and mind. The Holy Spirit will protect if you seek His advice and help. Often false teaching sounds good but it can be deadly. Let the Bible be your judge overall teaching.
1 Corinthians 14:33
King James Version
33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

1 Timothy 4
New Life Version
False Teaching in the Last Days4 The Holy Spirit tells us in plain words that in the last days some people will turn away from the faith. They will listen to what is said about spirits and follow the teaching about demons. 2 Those who teach this tell it as the truth when they know it is a lie. They do it so much that their own hearts no longer say it is wrong. 3 They will say, “Do not get married. Do not eat some kinds of food.” But God gave these things to Christians who know the truth. We are to thank God for them. 4 Everything God made is good. We should not put anything aside if we can take it and thank God for it. 5 It is made holy by the Word of God and Matthew 24:9-14
New King James Version
9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.Matthew 24:9-14
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. -

Happy Monday,
“Promise #91:
My kingdom is everlasting and My dominion will endure forever.”
Psalm 145:13 (WEB)
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom.
Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
Yahweh is faithful in all his words,
and loving in all his deeds.
“The kingdoms of this world will not last forever. Even some of the most long standing empires that spanned immense territories eventually faltered and faded away. No matter how great the king, no matter how vast their armies, every kingdom has a beginning and an end.’
I have been back in a colitis flare for a couple of weeks, the worst one I have had in years. It would be easy to become discouraged. Between that problem and problems with my head, I feel crummy.
Yet this will pass. Whatever we are going through we still have hope in our Heavenly Father. Even on extra bad days, we can still trust in God. Our future is so very bright. One day we all our bad days will just be a memory.
For now, let us focus on the Lord. Seek His help and trust in Him. Pray for others. So many many Christians are suffering. Let us not become so focused on our own situation that we do not see the suffering of others.
Maranatha,
Betty
Verse 1]

Happy Saturday,
When the devil tells us that what we are going through is more than we can bear, he may be telling us the truth. Remember that we are not working by ourselves. We have the Holy Spirit within us to help us stand strong.
When we are over come and fall down call out to our Heavenly Father and He will pick us up. God is not calling out plays from the sidelines like a coach. He is with us all the way.

Happy Wednesday,
We Can Only Imagine
In the last Star Trek television series there was a group of people who were liquid form. They existed in a condition where they co-existed in an ocean form where everyone existed as one.
In Heaven, we will be individuals who know each other, but I believe it is possible that we will have a spiritual union that joins us together as God’s people. This spiritual existence will bring to us a love beyond any love relationship in earth. We will be one with each other and experience a love for God and for each other that is beyond any physical or emotional love that is possible on earth.
We will know a joy that nothing on this earth can compare to. We will experience a union with God and one another that is beyond our comprehension to even imagine in our earthly minds and bodies.
We cannot imagine the glorious joy we will experience when we enter Heaven’s gates. The suffering we have experienced on this earth will fade away as God welcomes us into His Heavenly home.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Daily Prayer for April 19
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“And in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ give thanks every day for everything to our God and Father. Ephesians 5:20, NEB
Dear Father in heaven, accept our thanks today for all you allow us to learn and to receive from you. Help us, your children, to follow the Savior with a right spirit and with true understanding. Protect us from evil, from all the works of Satan. In our generation may we experience your rulership and your wonders. In the name of Jesus we pray, reveal yourself with power. May your will be done on earth as in heaven, that all may realize they are in your hands and that it is your will to set everything right. Be with us this night. Bless and strengthen us for all the work entrusted to us. “Amen
Another night that I have barely slept. I prayed to sleep, yet just a few cat naps were all I was given. It is hard to be grateful, when are prayers seem to fall on deaf ears. Yet, I know God heard my prayers.
This night has not been wasted I sang praises to God in my thoughts and reminded myself of the wonderous attributes of my Heavenly Father. Even we cannot sleep we can rest in God’s love.
Eventually, I will fall asleep and probably sleep into the afternoon. I have to remind myself that it’s okay. I have no place to go today.
So many times we have to trust God when we do not understand the reasons why He allows things to happen. It is not our job to analyze God, but to trust in Him in all situations.
Pray for the people in Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Tuesday,
Be Careful, That We Do Not Worship Our Work, Instead of God
1 Corinthians 3:9
New International Version
9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
When our work for God becomes more important to us than worshipping God we are in danger. Our work will become a weight around our necks and we can become spiritually crushed.
This will allow resentment to form in our hearts and minds. This can lead to anger against God and others. Our work will soon become unblessed by God and it will show in our work.
First and foremost we should worship God with all our hearts. Then we work for God because we love Him, and not out of obligation. There may be days that we are not in a mindset to do our work. There may be times when we have to take a break from our work and rest our minds.
Always pray for guidance and seek God’s will before you start your preparation for your work. Pleasing God should always be the purpose for doing any work for our Heavenly Father.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Wednesday,
Do Not Ride the Fence
We often wonder why a Christian Pastor can marry a gay couple or pray a blessing over an abortion clinic, or why a Christian can be protesting for abortion rights.
Christians do not usually start out that way. They begin to hang around with people who are not Christian and listen to people who do not have Godly values. Little by little they become more concerned about being a people pleaser over pleasing their God.
When we leave this world we will judge by God and not people. It is far better to please God over people. Pray for those who have rejected the truth of the Gospel. Pray that they will return to the truth of God’s Holy Word.

Call Out To God
Today, I went on Yahoo. I read about all the hate being blasted at Israel by College Professors and Students. The anti-Israel comments on the internet upset me so much, that my hands are still shaking.
Yet, God warned us these days would come. He said in the last days the world would turn on Israel. Still, it breaks my heart. To see American women stand up and say they are Hamas. They are so ignorant.
Hamas rapped and killed young women who were just enjoying a music festival. They killed, old people, families, and young people. They took even babies as hostages and are still holding these babies as hostages. Yet American College Students are saying proudly that they are Hamas.
What are these Colleges and Universities teaching are children? The students say they are not anti-semitic. When you say you are Hamas you are saying hatred against Jews. Hamas have said time and time again that they want Israel wiped off the map. God help this world!
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Precious In His Sight
Isaiah 43:4 ESV /
Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life.
Psalm 116:15 ESV /
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
1 Peter 2:9 ESV
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1 John 3:1 ESV /
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
When we are physically, emotionally, or mentally ill, we tend to run from God, instead of to God. Just as a child flees from taking medication, we flee from the one who can heal us.
We also tend to hide from others when we need people the most. Especially God-fearing people who could encourage us and pray for us.
It is embarrassing to admit that we are weak and we do not have it altogether.
The truth is that no one has it all together. Sometimes it is not embarrassment that causes us to curl up and hide. We do not want to be a burden to others. Everyone has their share of troubles and we do not want to add to other’s burdens.
God help us to know when to speak up. God help us to always RUN to Him.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

“Prayer Matters”
I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. 2 Kings 20:5
READ 2 Kings 20:1-6
Praying is important. It is not just something we do. God hears our prayers. Praying for others helps us grow a loving heart for others. Never downplay the importance of prayers. Praying strengthens our relationship with God.
Make it a point to pray daily and several times a day. Do not wait to pray until there is a crisis. In our prayers, praise our Heavenly Father for the wondrous things He does for us and our families.
Praying for Israel and lost souls should be more than a habit but a heartfelt cry to God. Prayer should be a part of us like breathing.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Saturday,
“Promise #124:
I gently formed you in your mother’s womb.
Psalm 139:13 (WEB)
For you formed my inmost being.
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
The New International Version Bible says Psalm 139:13 this way… For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. The New Living Translation says… You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. No matter what translation you prefer, this is a gentle picture of God’s loving creation process.”
What a wonderful thought, to realize that God carefully and delicately created us. He did not throw us together with little thought and intention. We were planned by God before we were born. We were created for an eternal purpose.
We are not an accident.
The President has no clue who we are but the Creator of all things, knew us before we took our first breath. What a marvelous realization! Knowing that we were created for a reason, gives our lives purpose.
We should pray that God will help us confirm to His will and fulfill His will for us. We can only see the moment that we are in. God sees the past, the present, and the future. We can trust God completely in all things.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Embrace The Rain
There are some things in our lives that we cannot change. This is sometimes hard for us. We cannot bring back loved ones that have passed. There are things about our health we cannot change. We cannot always change our circumstances.
Make changes where we can. Accept with grace what we cannot change. We cannot bring back our dead loved ones, but we can remember the good memories. The disabilities we have we can learn to accept with appreciation on what we can still accomplish.
Pray for others who are suffering. Pray for God to encourage His children and fill their hearts with hope and peace. Remember our hope is not in this world but in our Heavenly Father.
Worship and praise God in all of our situations. Our love for God must not be based on our circumstances. Remember this is not our final home and our best life will not be on this earth but in Heaven. The best is yet to come. Encourage yourself with that.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Look Up To Jesus
“My faith looks up to Thee
1
My faith looks up to Thee,Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior Divine;
Now hear me while I pray;
Take all my guilt away;
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine.
2
May Thy rich grace impartStrength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire;
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm, and changeless be,
A living fire.
3
While life’s dark maze I tread,And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my Guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.
4
All thru life’s transient dream,Until death’s sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll,
Blest Savior, with Thy love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Make me Thy grace to prove
Transform my soul.”

Happy Friday,
By Grace Through Faith
Ephesians 2
By Grace Through Faith
2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the [a]course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
We all have our days when we do not feel worthy of God’s love. Truth is, we are never worthy. God did not save us because we are something special. He saved us because He is special.
God does not love us because we are so loveable. He loves us because God is love. God is gracious beyond measure. He proved that by sending His only son to die for our sins.
So let us worship and praise God for our gift of salvation. Let us share the Gospel with others. Reject self-pride and replace pride with gratitude to our Heavenly Father for salvation and our promise of eternity with our glorious God and Father.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Blessed Sunday,
Happy Mother’s Day
Today brings mixed emotions for many of us. Some of us miss our mothers. Some of us miss a child. I am still blessed. My daughter-in-law got me a special book from her daughter who turned 5 yesterday. It was filled with pictures of us with our granddaughter and my granddaughter wrote about each picture. Very special. Her husband and my son is in Heaven.
Today my daughter and her husband came over and brought me some solar lights that look like flowers and a rose from her garden. I enjoyed their visit very much. The lights are very pretty.
Being a parent is a blessing. I am very grateful to God. Grateful for my daughter who is here and my son in Heaven. I pray that God blesses every mother today and all week.
Maranatha,
Betty

Happy Tuesday,
Daily Prayer for May 14
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2, NIV
Lord our God, almighty and holy One, whose glory shines upon the earth so that we may find joy in you and may live rejoicing in all your loving-kindness, spread out your hands in blessing over all people. Spread your blessing over the happy and the sad, over the courageous and the weak. Shepherd them in your love, in the great grace you have given through Jesus Christ, confirmed in us through the Holy Spirit. Do not let us remain degraded and worthless. Lift our hearts above what is transitory, for you have given us something eternal to live by. Help us every day so that we can reach the goal you have set for us, for many others, and finally for all peoples of the earth. Amen”
We can live in hope of our future in Heaven. We can trust that God’s Holy Word is true. When we realize this with all of our beings we can be at peace in all circumstances.
Let us not waste our time on worrying about what or may not happen. God is in control. He will never abandon us or fail us. Rest in the promises of our Heavenly Father.
Seek God’s will in everything. Praise the Lord with songs and our prayers. Seek to do His will while we look forward to our eternity with our God, our Father, our great Shepherd.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Thursday,
When We Do Not Know What To Say
There are times that we are a loss for words. A friend or loved one talks to us about a problem, and we just do not know what to say. Truth, is that is okay. Sometimes people are not looking for answers.
They want someone to love on them. To hold their hand and pray for them. Being there for others is not always about giving our opinion but about us standing in the gap with them and praying for them.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Hold On To Your Faith, In God
Daily Prayer for May 17
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“Let us, then, hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we have a great High Priest who has gone into the very presence of God – Jesus, the Son of God. Our High Priest is not one who cannot feel sympathy for our weaknesses. On the contrary, we have a High Priest who was tempted in every way that we are, but did not sin. Hebrews 4:14-15, TEV
Dear Father in heaven, we look to Jesus Christ, who is at your right hand, through whom you have promised help for the whole world. Unite us with him so that we may receive authority to help all people according to your will. May your name be kept holy among us, for your children have every reason to rejoice in the Savior you have given them. We thank you for everything you have shown to those who believe in you. We pray to you, hasten the time when your day shall come with glory, the day when you will give the glory to Jesus Christ, when he will reign and triumph over all evil and bring the peace you have always wanted to give the world. We wait and long for this.”Amen
We must choose to stand firm in our faith. God is not going to force us. It must be something we choose to do. When we love God with all our hearts, we will want to please Him.
God does not have Sunday- only children. Nor does God have children who only come to Him during bad times. Either we are all in or we are not His.
Serve the Lord with all your heart and worship Him daily.
Pray for the children of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

“Promise #138:
I will not forget the love you have shown Me by serving others.
Hebrews 6:10 (WEB)
For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love
which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints,
and still do serve them.”
We bless God by serving others. We show God’s love to others by being willing to help them in their time of need. Even us introverted people can text someone a word of encouragement.
Let us worship God, by being a willing vessel for the Kingdom of God. Pray for those who are suffering. Pray for the sick. Pray for the children of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Monday,
1 Timothy 2:1-7
New King James Version
Pray for All Men
2 Therefore I [a]exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in [b]authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and [c]reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, 7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth [d]in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
We should pray for our leaders. Even those we did not vote for. For it is God’s will that all mankind will come to the realization that they need salvation through His Son, Jesus.
We should not hate one another but pray for a heart to love others. When we love one another we will find it easier to pray for one another. Rejoice when sinners come to salvation and mourn when people leave the truth of the Gospel for earthly rewards.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Tuesday,
Daily Prayer for May 21
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17, NIV
Lord our God, you have revealed your righteousness to us in the gospel, your righteousness that comes to us through faith and continues in faith. Grant that we may understand your righteousness and live by it even in a crooked generation. Then to our joy the gospel will bear fruit. Protect us in the midst of temptation and conflicting opinions so that we are raised above them and remain free, with our thoughts on you and your true and loving righteousness. Your righteousness gives us hope for the many, many people who still need help to realize that their lives are not of passing value but of eternal worth. “Amen
Every Church does not preach the truth anymore. Too many Pastors are more concerned about being politically correct than Biblically correct. We must pray for discernment so that we are not led astray.
The Bible warned us of these days when people would prefer to have their ears tickled rather than be convicted of their sins. We must choose to put God first and worship Him in truth and righteousness.
Staying true to God to the end, will have a great reward, when we enter the gates of Heaven. Evil will never touch as again. Glory to God in the highest and peace and good will be to all mankind.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Put God First
Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body what ye shall put on. MATTHEW 6:25
God does care that our needs are met. He wants us to put Him first. When we put God first, He will provide for us. When we put our complete trust in our Heavenly Father, we can live without fear.
If we are always second-guessing God then we are not completely trusting in Him. We must lay aside our doubts and fears and trust that God will provide for our needs.

We Cannot Picture In Our Minds
1 Corinthians 2:9-10
New King James Version
9 But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
We cannot picture in our minds how beautiful Heaven is. We cannot feel with our thoughts the peace that encompasses Heaven. Heaven, it is not a pipe dream. Heaven is as real as our own earth.
One day, we will walk through the gates of Heaven. We will leave behind all troubles, pain, and crime. We will see that every sacrifice we made was far worth the glories of Heaven.
Until then we can rest in the love of God, knowing that He will never abandon us nor forsake us. Through every trial, He walks with us. The more we love Him, the more we learn to trust Him.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Do Not Play With Sin
Romans 6:5-6
New King James Version
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be [a]done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
Jesus paid a terrible price to bring redemption to mankind and to save our souls. Yet, there are times when we are tempted to flirt with sin. It is not only dangerous to play with sin, but it grieves the Holy Spirit when we make such unwise choices.
Ephesians 4:30
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
We will be so much happier when we choose to walk in righteousness and avoid sin. Lay aside fleshly desires and choose to please our Heavenly Father. Remember sin only brings pleasure for a short time but can bring a lifetime of pain and an eternity in hell.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

“Promise #152:

his faithfulness to all generations.
Our God and Father is good and His mercy will go on forever and ever. The more that you and I are convinced of the goodness of God, the more we will yield to the extravagant love that He showers on us every day.”
The devil would like us to believe that God is far away. The more we love God, the closer He becomes to us. Let us not be guilty of pushing God away. Let us, instead draw close to Him with our prayers, Worship, and praise.

Happy Monday,
“Christ Loved Me
Anyone who does not love does not know God.
1 John 4:8The distinguishing mark of a Christian is his confidence in Christ’s love for him and in the offering of his love to Christ. First, faith sets her seal upon the man by enabling the soul to say with the apostle, “Christ loved me and gave himself for me.”1 Then love gives the countersign and stamps upon the heart gratitude and love to Jesus in return. “We love because he first loved us.”
We will not spend eternity bragging about the celebrities we have met. Nor will we be bragging about knowing powerful people, on earth. In Heaven, no one will care who we were in a relationship with on Earth.
The only relationship that will matter in Heaven is our relationship with God. The only relationship that will determine where we spend our eternity is our relationship with God.
Once we have died, it is too late to form a relationship with God. Today, is the time to accept salvation through Christ. Do not wait until it is too late.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Revelation 21
New King James Version
All Things Made New
21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, [a]John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said [b]to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
6 And He said to me, “It[c] is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes [d]shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, [e]unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Today I have a headache associated with dementia. I am a little confused and my brain feels foggy. Yet, even in the state I am, I feel the love of God over me. He has not forsaken me.
All of us have times when we just do not feel like ourselves. It can be disquieting. The devil would like to use these times to sew fear in our hearts. This is when we pray more and seek comfort from God. Praying for others will not only be a blessing to them but to us.

New King James Version
Prayer for Safety from Enemies
To the Chief Musician. Set to [a]“Do Not Destroy.” A Michtam of David when he fled from Saul into the cave.
57 Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me!
For my soul trusts in You;
And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge,
Until these calamities have passed by.
2 I will cry out to God Most High,
To God who performs all things for me.
3 He shall send from heaven and save me;
He reproaches the one who [b]would swallow me up. Selah
God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.
4 My soul is among lions;
I lie among the sons of men
Who are set on fire,
Whose teeth are spears and arrows,
And their tongue a sharp sword.
5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
Let Your glory be above all the earth.
6 They have prepared a net for my steps;
My soul is bowed down;
They have dug a pit before me;
Into the midst of it they themselves have fallen. Selah
7 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and give praise.
8 Awake, my glory!
Awake, lute and harp!
I will awaken the dawn.
9 I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing to You among the [c]nations.

CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us – so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations. Psalm 67:1–2, NIV
Lord, Almighty God, you are our Father and we are your children, who want to live for you through Jesus Christ our Lord. Strengthen and renew our hearts. When discouragement and fear try to mislead us, may your Holy Spirit help us again and again to hold fast, for no matter what difficulties arise, your will is being done and your will is good. Your name will be honored. Your kingdom will come for all nations. Your reign will come over all peoples, for they are all yours and must acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Lord, to your honor, O Father. Amen”

The Spiritual War
10 Now I, Paul, myself am pleading with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you. 2 But I beg you that when I am present I may not be bold with that confidence by which I intend to be bold against some, who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. -

Happy Tuesday,
Hope
“Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope. . . .
1 Timothy 1:1Hope is the light that illuminates our pathway in life, leading us onward with the promise of eternal, full life with God. For all who know Christ, hope is an essential part of the journey. Indeed, as the apostle Paul says, Christ himself is our hope. Hope in Christ is not a mere wishful kind of hope that people sometimes talk about when they say, “I hope we have a beautiful day for our picnic,” or “I hope our sports team wins the championship.” If our hope is limited to this life alone, we will not find true happiness.”
In Christ alone do we find hope in our present, future and eternity. We need not wring our hands, fret, and worry. We can trust completely in God, our Heavenly Father.
We will have bad times. We will be frustrated at times. We will have unanswered questions. Yet when we cry out to God and He will give us peace of mind in all circumstances. His presence in our lives brings us peace and hope.
Acts 24:15
I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust.
Romans 5:2
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:5
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
1 Corinthians 13:7
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Let us rejoice, even in times of stress, knowing hope in God is not in vain.Betty

Happy Friday,
More Than We Can Bear
There is a misconception, that God will not give us more than we can bear. This is not true. Sometimes He does give us more than we can bear.
This is when God wants us to cry out for Him to help us. It is more than reminding us that we are weak humans. It is about God wanting us to know how much He loves us and how much He wants us to depend on Him.
When my son died, it was more than I could bear. Still, the pain often cuts like a knife to my heart. Yet my relationship with God is much stronger than before. I know God more than I did before. There is a spiritual growth that comes from going through the fire.
When bad things happen turn to God immediately. Trust God as you walk through the fires of loss, disappointments, and discouragement. God will never fail you.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Daily Prayer for June 25
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13, NIV
Lord our God, grant us courageous hearts, we pray. Grant that we may always find our strength and support in you and may bear with joy whatever the present days bring us. No matter how much evil occurs, we know that your peace is already prepared. We await your peace, and we are allowed to believe that everything will turn out according to your will and according to the good you have prepared for your people on earth. For in faith your people overcome the world, and at last through their faith others too may receive something from you and may lift their eyes to you, the God of truth, of justice, of salvation, and of peace. Be with us every day, Lord God. Help us. Bless us, and bless all who try to bring help where it is needed. Let us praise your name forevermore! “Amen.
God has not promised that we will understand why things happen to us and others in the world. He has promised to be with His children, those who have a relationship with Him.
Let us pray for the suffering. Pray for lost souls to come to saving grace through salvation through Jesus Christ.
Maranatha,
Betty

Happy Wednesday,
“I Do Not Understand “
To my understanding, there is nowhere in the Bible where God calls us to understand why He allows things to happen to us that we do not like. Distressing as it is to us, God has never promised us that He will explain to us why bad things happen to us.
What God has called us to do is to trust in Him in all situations. We are to love God, even when our hearts are breaking. We are to love God when a liar destroys our reputation, knowing that one day the truth will be revealed. When we love and trust God through it all we will find peace.
One day in Heaven we will understand. Now God wants our complete trust and for us to love Him with our whole heart.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your ownunderstanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Matthew 22:37-40
New King James Version
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

4 Now the Spirit [a]expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; 5 for it is [b]sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Sadly, it is not just Preachers and Teachers who are abandoning the truth of God’s Holy Word. Christian singers are also becoming more concerned about pleasing the world than pleasing God.
We are so close to the rapture and it breaks my heart to see those in positions to reach many for Christ abandon the basic principles of God’s Word. How sad it will be for those who were leaders to miss the rapture because of their lust for popularity in the world. This is not the time to lay aside your salvation to embrace and promote sin.
Only those who are willing to worship God in spirit and truth and honor God’s Word will enter the gates of Heaven. Pray for those who have lost sight of what is important. Pleasing our Heavenly Father should be our ultimate goal.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Betty

Happy Monday,
Bring Your Kingdom To Earth
Daily Prayer for July 1
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last. Luke 13:29–30, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, Almighty God, grant that the nations come under your rule, under your judgment from morning to evening, from east to west, from north to south. For your will must be done, and your name must be honored among all nations. Yours alone is the kingdom; all kingdoms belong to you. Your heavenly kingdom must come so that at last we learn to be at peace and become your children, who submit to you. For your Christ shall carry out your loving, merciful, and perfect will throughout the world. We thank you for all the good you want to provide for us. May your angels watch over us this night. Be with us in all we do or leave undone. Help us with your strong hands, that we may rejoice at heart in all the good you give us. “Amen
Heaven on earth. There is no President, Dictator, or King that can bring perfect peace to this earth, except for Jesus. One day He will rule over this earth with an iron fist.
If we have been saved, we have nothing to fear. For we will be clothed in our glorified bodies. We will never again be tempted to sin. We will walk the earth with the angels. We will rule as kings and queens.
What a glorious time that will be. I believe we will travel at the speed of sound. We will be able to speak the Name of Jesus and no matter where we are on this earth, we will instantly be in the presence of Jesus in the New Jerusalem. Worshipping at His feet and glorifying His Holy Name.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.
Maranatha,
Betty

Count Your Blessings
When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed
Author: Johnson Oatman, Jr. (1897)
Count Your Blessings
Representative Text
1 When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.
Refrain:
Count your blessings, name them one by one;
Count your blessings, see what God hath done;
Count your blessings, name them one by one;
Count your many blessings, see what God hath done.
2 Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings, ev’ry doubt will fly,
And you will be singing as the days go by. [Refrain]
No matter what we are going through, if we think about it have many things to be thankful for. Running water, air-conditioning, and food on our table. We are indeed Blessed by our Heavenly Father.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.
Maranatha,
Betty

Happy Wednesday,
You Need A Ticket To Enter Heaven
To get a ticket, you must be saved.
“A – ADMIT that you are a Sinner
We all have sinned.
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:17-21 KJV
And no matter how you try to be good, you will still fail.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:23 KJV
You are still unclean.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Isaiah 64:6 KJV
B – BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ
God gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to save us. And through His blood, our sins washed away.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 KJV
Only by His grace and not by works.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV
There is no other way but only through Jesus Christ alone.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6 KJV
God commended His love toward us.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 KJV
If we have Jesus Christ living in us, we will live eternally.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1 John 5:12 KJV
In the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
1 Corinthians 5:3-5 KJV
By the blood of our Savior Jesus Christ
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Titus 3:5-7 KJV
C – CONFESS with your mouth
Now that you accepted that you are a sinner and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, confess with your mouth your sins and that you believe in Him. Let Him come to you and accept Him as your Lord and personal Savior.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 KJV
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Live your life in a way that is pleasing to God. Worship God in truth and righteousness. Lay aside sin and obey God. Live for God and not for self.

Betty

God Will Never Abandon Israel
“Promise #186:
I will not abandon My own inheritance.
Psalm 94:14 (WEB)
For Yahweh won’t reject his people,
neither will he forsake his inheritance.”
Contrary to the beliefs of some, God has not and never will abandon Israel. God formed Israel from Her birth. He loves her. Just as God will never abandon Israel, He will not abandon those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord. We can always depend on our Heavenly Father.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Happy Friday,
Unanswered Prayer and Answered Prayer
I prayed Monday and Tuesday night for God to get our power back on. It did not happen until late Wednesday morning. Tonight I found out that God took care of us in a situation that I did not even know about.
I found a dead mouse under my bed that the dog killed. When we where without power that mouse could have jumped in the bed with us when we did not have lights.
If this has happened I would have screamed and might have caused my hubby to fall out of bed and get hurt. The last time he fell out if bed, he ended up in the hospital for three days.
I am so grateful to God for protection. We are blessed. Sometimes God interviews in our behalf and we do not know about it.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls. May God help us to be more grateful to Him.

Betty

Happy Tuesday,
Endurance
I am old and have mild dementia. I do not do change well. Hubby broke his right femur Saturday morning. He had surgery Sunday morning. Our routine is all messed up.
I have to admit there have been moments of depression but God has been with me. Truth is none of us knows what tomorrow holds for us. We do know who holds tomorrow in His hands.
Our faith grows in times of trouble, but none of us want to have trouble. Yet, God knows what we need and He will always BE WITH US.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Everyone, Good and Evil Has Troubles
“Promise #198:
I will save you in the midst of your troubles.
Psalm 138:7 (WEB)
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me.
You will stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies.
Your right hand will save me.”
We all have trouble, but if we are Christians, then God is with us, throughout our troubles. We can depend on God to walk with us. There will be times when we grow weary. Let us not lose hope.
Keep your faith strong in the Lord. Trust in him always. Seek God’s face when we are weak. Pray for those who are overwhelmed and are losing heart. Ask God to bring to your mind, who you should pray for.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Doctor is doing a FaceTime call with me tomorrow. I am praying I can speak my mind without crying or losing my temper. This morning I took him a hamburger, because he asked for one. He ate three bites and refused to eat the rest. He was mad because I would not take him home today. He cannot put any weight on his right leg. I cannot pick up and take him to bathroom. It takes two people to pick him up.
Besides I walk with a walker. Later after that got him to his room he did eat some pudding. I told him that I loved him when I left. He did not say anything but, at least he did not call me a liar. Please pray for me for this is affecting my dementia and my COPD. My family is going to come over tomorrow and clean my house. I am going to rest and help a little.
I pray that he gets well enough to get home and we can check out that new Church. God bless you all!

Blessed Sunday,
Give Your Tomorrows To God
Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
If you are like me, when you crawl into bed, the devil will give you a playlist of things to worry about. If we are not careful we will find ourselves lying in bed sorting and fretting for our hours.
We cannot fix tomorrow nor can we change the future. Put our tomorrows in God’s hands and trust Him.

Happy Tuesday,
Jesus, The Only Savior
Daily Prayer for July 23
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
Salvation is to be found through him alone; in all the world there is no one else whom God has given who can save us. Acts 4:12, TEV
Dear Father in heaven, we thank you that you have revealed to us the name Jesus Christ, the name of your Son, who leads us to you as your children. May your hand be plainly seen over all the suffering and dying people of our time. May your hand soon bring in a new age, a time truly of God and of the Savior, fulfilling what has long been promised. Watch over us this night. Bless us. In suffering, continue to uphold us with your mighty hand. In grief, may your name still be honored. May your kingdom come, breaking into all the evil of the world, and may your will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen
There are not many roads to Heaven. Salvation through Jesus Christ is the only door that opens the gates of Heaven. Jesus is with us we suffer through our trials. He comforts us when we grieve. He gives us peace in times of confusion.
Jesus will never give up on us let us stand firm in our convictions and worship God with all our hearts.

Daily Prayer for July 25
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17, NIV
Dear Father in heaven, Creator of what is good, beautiful, and full of joy so that all may work in harmony with you, we thank you for all the good that comes to us. May we be your children, joined together to serve you. May our life bring joy to others, and may we do good without ceasing through your great, strong love, which moves us, strengthens us, and helps us every day, however hard life may be. May your name be praised throughout the world. May your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen”
The last six weeks I have been hard on me. I feel overwhelmed and come home from the rehab from my husband every day exhausted. Yet, I can feel the presence of God with me.
Even when I am frustrated, He comforts me. We all go through rough times. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves, that God is with us. Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Provide Our Needs
Daily Prayer for August 20
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1, NIV
Lord our God, grant that we may be your children who receive the Spirit and all they need from you. You strengthen us not only physically but also inwardly, in our hearts, enabling us to face the uncertainties of earthly life and whatever still needs changing in human society. Keep us from giving in to weakness. May your power be always with us. May we have patience and hope, because you are working for the good and we may wait for it in expectation. Amen
This has been a hard couple of months. The car is still in the shop and hubby can barely stand. For now, it is for, the wheelchair to the bed and the wheelchair to the living room. We are both struggling and yet I know that God is with us. I can feel Him in my spirit.
We do not always understand why God takes us through such hard times, but we can depend on Him always being with us. Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Looking for the Silver Lininig
I ordered a lift chair for hubby from Amazon. Going to take 6-8 days to get here, but it is coming. Talk to car repair shop. Part needed is coming from overseas and may take two weeks to get here.
At least it is making me stay home and rest in between taking care of hubby. Also, we can have our groceries delivered. It is easy to get upset when it seems God is taking so long to answer our prayers, but we can find peace in the waiting.

Seek Comfort From God
“Promise #234:
I will comfort you just like a mother would.
Isaiah 66:13 (WEB)
As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you;
and you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
There is no shame in seeking comfort from God. There are times when we go through weeks and weeks of trials and tribulations. We become physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted.
If we are not careful. We lose our hope. We must seek the face of our Heavenly Father. We must ask Him to comfort and sustain us. Remember the Bible says that sometimes we have not because we do not ask. Do not be afraid to seek help from God.
Pray for Israel. Pray for lost souls.

When being a caregiver for a loved one, there will be some days harder than others. There is no need to point out to God your own health issues, He already knows.
When the day comes to an end and you crawl into bed, you can be grateful that God was with you. Knowing that you are not alone, helps when you feel frustrated. This is when God floods your soul with His sweet peace. As Paul said, let us not grow weary in doing good.

Happy Tuesday,
We Are Not Called To Understand
Parents lose children. Husbands and wifes lose their mates. Men and women lose siblings and friends lose friends.
It is not something we always understand. Some answers will only come when enter the Gates of Heaven. What we do need to understand is that through it all God will never abandon us.
Even in the midst of deep sorrow, God puts peace in our hearts and minds that is often unexplainable. A deep peace that reassures us that no matter what we are going through, there is a purpose for our suffering.
Are you struggling today? Call upon the One who created you. The One who knows you like no other. Seek the face of God. Ask Him for grace, peace, and wisdom.
Praise our Heavenly Father and worship Him in all circumstances. Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

When you are a caregiver there are nights that your loved one has a bad night. This makes a bad night for the caregiver. Then there are times the night is bad and then the morning is not any better.
It is easy to grow weary, but we can still rely on God and we can cry out to Him to help us and give us strength. Whatever trial you are going through, God is listening for your cries. We must not give up. Victory is closer than we think. We cannot see the finish line, but I believe we are closer than ever.
Keep trusting and keep walking with God.

Happy Saturday,
Faithful
Daily Prayer for August 31
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
You should think of us as Christ’s servants, who have been put in charge of God’s secret truths. The one thing required of such a servant is that he be faithful to his master. 1 Corinthians 4:1–2, TEV
Dear Father in heaven, open our hearts to see and feel how our lives have been blest. Open our hearts to your blessings so that we may look forward in thankfulness and joy to what lies ahead. Grant that we may be faithful to what we have received from you and never again lose ourselves in the passing moment. May we hold to all you have brought to our hearts from eternity, that your name may be honored and our lives shaped anew in Jesus Christ. Give us courage to overcome the evils in life and to look with joy and confident expectation to the future, when the powers of your kingdom will be ever more clearly revealed. Amen
We like to think of ourselves as faithful children of God. Yet there are times we are overcome with work and other duties that overcome us. We can find ourselves praying less and opening the Bible less.
Many times the chores added to our lives are very necessary. God knows that. Yet let us take the time to communicate with our Heavenly Father. It is not about long prayers but about speaking to God from our hearts.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls. Lift up those who are suffering, praying for them and encouraging one another.

Blessed Sunday,
Three years ago tonight our son left Earth for Heaven. He left a void that cannot be filled. For the last three years, God has been with us. Yet we still have times of deep pain and many tears.
We know without a doubt that our son was saved and He is with Jesus. This is the only reason we can hang on, knowing we are going to see Him again and will be with him for eternity.
Everyone suffers loss but we can live in hope if we keep our faith in God. Our time on this earth is short compared to an eternity with God.

Even A Cup Of Water
So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
1 Corinthians 15:58It is not how big the task that we do for God, it is our attitude. Are we working God with an obedient heart? Working with a grudging attitude will not earn us a reward.
Let us work for God because we love Him. Let us pray for one another out of love and not a feeling of obligation. God has shown great mercy to us. Let us show mercy and grace to others.
Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

To Know God More
Philippians 3:10
New King James Version
10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
Lord,
Give us the desire to know You, more. Help us to grow so close to You, that we can recognize Your voice in this world of constant loud noises. Teach us, Your truths. Help us to seek You first, in times of trouble. Help us to thank You for the many blessings You bestow on us.
Save our lost loved ones and friends. Have Your will in this coming election. Help us to accept your will in this election. We love You and long for the rapture. Nevertheless, let us work cheerfully until, You come for us.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

Happy Tuesday,
Easy And Light
Matthew 11:28-30
New King James Version
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am [a]gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Let us be honest. Often the burden God has chosen to lay on us does not seem easy or light. We can feel that we are crumbling beneath the load. Yet when in our weakness, we call out to God, He will give us strength. At the end of the day when collapse into our beds, God will give us peace and much-needed rest.
Do not lose hope, my friend. God is always with us. Pray for Texas and Louisiana. There is a hurricane coming. Pray that we do not have tornados and that we do not lose power. Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

I Will Answer You
Promise #255:
Before you even call out to Me, I will answer you.
Isaiah 65:24 (WEB)
It will happen that, before they call, I will answer;
and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
There are times when we feel God has abandoned us. We just do not feel Him. Sometimes God is testing out faith. This is for an opportunity for us to know where we stand with our faith. We can see where we need to change and how we need to draw closer to God. We learn that we need to spend more time in the Bible and in prayer.
Let us pray for one another. Pray for the people of Israel. Pray for lost souls.

Call Out To Jesus
There are times when life is hard and messy . It makes you depressed. Some people think it is a sin to have a pity party. I disagree.
Get you a cup of coffee and sit and tell God all your complaints. Tell Him that you are angry. It is not a secret to Him. Then give your troubles to Jesus and end the pity party. Offer praises to our God and King and move on.
This will pass. Maybe not tomorrow or even this year but with God besides us we can travel on.

Happy Tuesday,
Hope
Today was much better than the last three days and I praise God for that. When we are going through hard times, even a better day is refreshing. It’s almost like we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Truth is tomorrow might be not so good, but I have hope again. Hope keeps us going through troubled times. Our Heavenly Father gives us hope. He loves us and wants us to trust Him in spite of our circumstances.
May God bless you and your family.

Struggling Through
We often find ourselves on a path that is hard. We did not choose this path. God chose it for us. We have the choice of our reactions to our circumstances. We can fuss and be irritable to anyone who comes close to us. Or we can choose to accept God’s will and ask Him to guide and help us walk His way with grace and patience.
Talk to Jesus throughout your day. Tell Him of your struggles. ask him to strengthen you. This will pass. There will be new paths. Paths of joy and peace. Trust God today and look forward to the future.

Blessed Sunday,
The Right Thing
No one ever said that doing the right thing would always be easy. Sometimes it is hard, exhausting, and even unappreciated. Yet there is something to be said for doing the right thing.
There is a clear conscious when you do the right thing, you know you did your best and have to apologize to no one. There are times when God calls on us do to something that is hard and exhausting.
Yet, even through the toughest road, God will give us peace of mind. When we feel that we cannot go on, God revives us with that extra boost to keep us going. Obeying God is always the best way. If we reject God’s will not only will things go wrong, but we will have to redo the test again. So much better to obey God the first time.

Happy Tuesday,
Earning Our Way to Heaven
I heard a celebrity say recently that he hoped he and his wife had done enough to earn their way into Heaven. We cannot earn our way into Heaven. Even if we were like the legend of the cat and lived nine lives and died for Christ, nine times we still could not earn our salvation. Why?
Being Born In Sin
Psalm 51:5 ESV
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Psalm 58:3 ESV
The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies.
Romans 3:23 ESV
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 5:12 ESV
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—
Ecclesiastes 7:20 ESV
Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.
We needed the pure blood of a person who had never sinned to save us.
1 Peter 2:22
who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth;
2 Corinthians 5:2
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
Luke 1:35
The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God.
1 John 3:5
You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.
Matthew 27:24When Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this Man’s blood; see to that yourselves.”
John 19:4
Pilate came out again and *said to them, “Behold, I am bringing Him out to you so that you may know that I find no guilt in Him.”
John 8:29
And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.”
Isaiah 53:9
His grave was assigned with wicked men,
Yet He was with a rich man in His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.
1 Peter 1:18-19
knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.
Salvation is more than being sorry for our sins. We must turn away from our sins. We are not saved if we live a sinful lifestyle. We are not perfect and we do sin sometimes, but if we live in sin we are not saved.

Happy Thursday,
Promise #276:
I am your Father, and I love you even as I love My Son, Jesus.
John 17:23 (WEB)
I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one;
that the world may know that you sent me,
and loved them, even as you loved me.
What a mighty blessing it is to know how much God loves us! Not only did He send His Son to die for our sins, but He loves and cares about us today. He cares about our needs. He hurts when we hurt. We are special to Him. We are indeed a blessed people to be able to call God our Heavenly Father!

Betty

Happy Saturday,
Two Steps, Forward, And Two Steps Back
Do you ever feel that in your spiritual walk with God that you take two steps forward and fall back two steps? If you do, you are not alone. It often seems we cannot get ahead.
Yet even in the falling back, we are learning something. The most important step we make is getting up and continuing our walk with God. Giving up is not an option if we want to walk with God.
We may have to dust off our clothes and doctor a few cuts and bruises, but we must continue to walk forward with our Lord and Savior. One day we will walk right into Heaven, to our Heavenly reward. We cannot even imagine the joy that will fill our hearts and souls.
Maranatha,
Betty

Happy Monday,
Violence For Violence Sake
A year ago today, Hamas chose to go in to Israeli territory to kill and kidnap innocent Israeli young people. This time last year we expected the world to come out screaming for justice for the Jewish people.
Instead, on College compasses in America and in protests around the world young people protested in favor of the terrorist. Two American babies were kidnapped that day. No one protested for them to be set free. By now we can assume the babies were killed.
Just as the Bible predicted of the last days, what is evil is considered good. Many of the protesters were young women. Young women who are clueless about what would happen to them if they were under the thumb of Hamas.
We are indeed living in the last days and evil is growing by leaps and bounds. The only thing we can do is stay close to our Savior, Jesus. Make sure we are ready when the trumpet sounds.
Maranatha,
Betty
