Worldly worship often seeks to please human desires and gain worldly approval. Yet, *Romans 12:2 (ESV)* instructs us, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” We are called to be transformed in our worship, not conformed to the patterns of the world.
